BlueGreen Resort - Myrtle Beach, South Carolina —

Bluegreen Resort in Myrtle Beach- Now don't get me wrong the resort was perfect. It had pools, food, enternainment-the works. It's the company I don't like. Here's what happened: We were in our local Bass Pro Shop in Concord Mills when a nice man called us over and said how would you like to go on a 3 day 2 night vaction for $60? Of course we would but how we asked? He then proceded to say that he worked for Bluegreen and they were offering these vactions and in return all we had to do was atend a 90 minute timeshare type seminar. Only 90 minutes sure why not. So we signed up. We were promised an ocean front room with kid pools, a lazy river and free continental breakfast. Sounds great right? Well we packed up and took off when the time came. We arrived at Myrtle Beach July 1 and went to the Myrtle Beach Visitors center to find out exactly which hotel we were staying at. (This is something they had not mentioned.) We find out that Bluegreen had over booked and they put us out in Barefoot River Crossing which had absolutely nothing to do. It had 1 5 ft. pool, definitely not suitable for our family with a 2 year old. The pool wasn't close enough to walk to. We called their customer service and they wouldn't do anything for us. We were all very upset.Oh and did I mention that it took until 5:00 pm for us to even be told where we were staying?!?!  We were so unhappy that we took what little money we had and rented a cheap run down room just so we could finish our vacation. That was the worst vacation I have ever been on in my whole life. The 90 minute meeting took nearly 3 hours. OUr whole vacation was nothing but run, run, run. I will NEVER do business with or recomend Bluegreen to anyone-not even my worst enemies.

Our 90 minute meeting came to nearly three hours, too

Oh I hate it when stuff like that happens! I'm so sorry you had such a horrible experience. I've always wondered about those 90 minute deals they offer. Now I know!
