I love it but the cats take some time to warm up to it.

I'm always looking to feed my cats and foster cats/kittens the very best food that I can afford.  Some weeks the budget can only afford Nutro while others we can buy Innova or Blue.  Last week was a good week so I stocked everyone up on super-premium food, including a case of Blue Spa Select Tender Turkey & Chicken Entree Canned Food

This product is a very high-quality canned cat food that contains excellent ingredients.  This formula consists of turkey, chicken broth, chicken, chicken liver, carrots, sweet potatoes, brown rice, broccoli, and a bunch of vitamin and mineral supplements.  I love that it doesn't contain by-products, mystery meat/bone meal, "animal" fat, corn, wheat, or carcinogenic preservatives.

Blue Spa Select Tender Turkey & Chicken Entree is a very thick and downright stiff pate formula that requires some effort to remove from the can.  Honestly, that's kind of a good sign because it contains less water and more nutrients per ounce.  This canned food contains 10% protein which is a bit more than other premium products.  I'm happy to trade the excess water for more nutrition.

The main issue in this house is that the cats and kittens aren't exactly rushing up to their dishes to eat the Tender Turkey & Chicken Entree.  They will meander up to it, sniff, and most likely walk away from it for an hour or two.  Once they polish off their dry food they will check out and taste this Blue Spa Select product.  They don't devour this formula like they do other products which is disappointing.  Plates of this food take HOURS for them to eat, rather than minutes.

At $25 per case which is over $1 per can, I don't know if I'd buy this formula again.  It is an excellent formula with wonderful ingredients but my cats and foster cats/kittens just aren't digging it.  If I'm going to pay top dollar for a product, I'd like the feline crew to show some interest in it so my money isn't wasted.  This is a super-premium canned food but Blue Spa Select Tender Turkey & Chicken Entree isn't a good fit for my home.

If the cats don't like it it it definitely too expensive.

I have a finicky cat and I never know what she will or won't eat. I buy expensive ones and cheap ones. It is just hit or miss with her. I've had the best luck with 9 Lives Tuna Select.
