Blue Cross / Blue Shield — 

I have had Blue Cross less than a year, however I was pregnant when my husband got the coverage. I went through a pregnancy with all the doctor visits, a c-section, and being re-admitted for CHF and I paid $300 of a $30,000 hospital bill!  That is it!  It is cheaper for family coverage than the insurance my employer offers. Also, while I was off on maternity leave, they called ever couple of weeks to see if I needed anything.  They really made me feel like they cared about ME not our money!  They have a nurse line available 24 hours a day and sent me information on it so I could read up on it. I am very pleased with our coverage.

Just wait until they make you sign a rider like they did me denying a second c-section

Really helpful review. Wow-- they called you? They never called me. I am jealous. I would have told them that I needed laundry done, food prep, etc. hehehehhe. What is CHF?
