When my company switched to Blue cross for it's employee health insurance, from Tufts, I was glad. The coverage was much more extensive. Other than the one time deductable for an office visit or a 3 months supply of a perscription, that was it. My other plan had a $100 deductable for medications before the co-pay kicked in and a $1000 deductable before the mdeical co-pay kicked in. There was always a person on the other line that was there to review your coverage features and give you a confirmation number for the conversation. The Express Scipts [program was great for maintanence perscriptions, because the co-pay for 90 days worth was the same as for one months worth of product. The product was mailed and recieved quickly after the refill was called in on an automated line. We were able to keep our long time doctor, and did not find any inconvienences with the change. My wife and i both had a CT scan the same year and only paid the co-pay for an expensive procedure. This has been a great savings as we are getting older, and whatching our health.
