Whenever I have the extra money to spoil my cats or my local pet store is having a sale, I try to pick this up. The ingredients seem to be very high quality, with the first ingredient being deboned duck! I do not think that there are farm-raised ducks, so I am assuming that they are hormone free. I am a tad iffy about the chicken fat that is added, but I am not an animal health expert. There are a ton of added vitamins and minerals. They also add omega fatty acids, which I believe is good for the cat's brain. My cats gobble this stuff down like Thanksgiving. At first, that really surprised me because they aren't usually impressed off of dry food. This has never upset my cats' stomachs or given them stool issues. I trust it to feed them when going on vacation, so I know that there won't be any accidents in the car, cage, etc. Quality of Ingredients It contains fruits, vegetables, meat, etc. There are not very many filler products. Bonus vitamins and minerals give it a boost.

In our pledge to keep our cat on grain free diet after seeing the remarkable difference in him since we started, we came upon Duck with Sweet Potato flavor of Blue Buffalo Cat food. It was love at first bite! Quality of Ingredients The smell alone of this food shows that it is made from good quality ingredients without the high level of additives and fillers found in most commercial cat foods. This food is advertised as having NO chicken or poultry by-product meal, NO artificial preservatives and NO corn, wheat or soy. It has duck, chicken, turkey, and sweet potato as well as cranberries for balanced diet to keep cats healthy. We don't use it as an exclusive diet, but we feed our cat a small raw fresh high quality diet most days and supplement with the dry food in small amounts. His fur is soft and fluffy and he has no odor problems anymore, and his box is even almost odor free! No vomiting or potty problems either is a refreshing change. This food would be excellent for sensitive cats. Flavor Selection This duck and sweet potato is a unique flavor that is very pleasing to our cat. I would not think that our cat would like this flavor, but he ran over to it the very first time and started chomping it down immediately. He has loved it ever since!

This food is one of the best foods.I give dry food only as a snack..on the advice from my cats only vet. I do a rotation diet,where I mix 2 or 3 different grain free foods for variety , and this is one of them. Natures Variety instinct is another high quality dry that I mix this with. Cats need variety and sometimes like people get bored. All of my cats trample upon each other when I take the dry food bin out. It is good to know that they feel that they get a "surprise"snack every day from mom.

My cat loves the Blue Wilderness Dry Cat Food, Duck.  This product is 100% grain free, which is one of the reasons I bought it.  My cat seems to have a big of a digestive problem and the grain free duck is something that works to control that and she also will eat it.  This is a high protein, low carb diet, which is what a lot of veterinarians recommend for cats and I want to make sure my cat lives a long, healthy life.  Blue Wilderness meets the nutritional levels established by the AAFCO Cat Food Nutrient Profiles for maintenance, not all cat foods meet this criteria.  I just want to make sure my cat is eating healthy but also enjoys her food.   I add a little bit of warm water with this to release the flavors and aromas and also makes it easier to eat.  I am also serving my cat the canned duck of this brand just for a little variety.  Actually, canned is supposed to be better but it is hard to find this product in the duck flavor. I highly recommend this for cats.
