Cat's are extremely finicky when it comes to food, if you change their food or give them something cheap they can get sick to their stomachs. They also cannot digest carbohydrates like we can so this food is perfect for them seeing that it is grain free. I was hesitant to buy this at first since it is very pricey, but in the end I am glad I did and so is my cat. As soon as I get the bag out of the pantry he goes running to his food dish and starts meowing like crazy. It appears to be very high quality, the food does not have a bad odor at all and the packaging it comes in is very high quality as well. My cat never gets sick to his stomach off this food and I feel it helps control his hairballs as well. Quality of Ingredients I buy the dry food and it appears to be very high quality. The food crunches when he eats so I know it is not stale. The food also smells fresh and does not leave bad odors in the house. Flavor Selection We get the chicken one, I believe there is a salmon flavor as well.

My cats love the Blue Buffalo Wilderness Grain Free Salmon Recipe canned cat food. Two days out of the week I feed my cats this particular product. Both my cats love this canned salmon and gobble it up. I like that this particular brand of cat food does not contain grains and is free of fillers. The salmon canned cat food is high in protein and low in carbohydrates. Like the dry cat foods made by this brand, it has improved my cats fur coats and has given them a major boost or energy. This canned cat food does not upset my cats stomach and they are at a healthy stable weight. Previously to purchasing this canned cat food, my cats didn't really care much for other canned cat foods. This brand of cat foods is their all time favorite. I now only purchase this brand for the dietary needs. Yes this brand of cat food is a bit more pricey than others but well worth the price. My cats have never looked or felt better. I highly recommend this product.

I bought the fish and potato formula and my cats wouln't touch,they smelled and walked away I started worrying cause they did not eat for couple of days so I gave them some temptations till I could get back to Pet Smart. I contacted the company and they acted very indifferent to my problem, and said well just try another formula. Right now they're eating indoor formula but they really don't care alot about the blue so I will proably go back to Iams when this bag is gone

When we started feeding our cat truly healthy foods and saw a huge change in him, one of the companies that I researched at length was Blue Buffalo. They are expensive, but worth the price. Quality of Ingredients There are many different types of Blue Buffalo Cat Foods that are available. There is the BLUE for Cats which has some grains in it, but they are more geared toward specific cats and their needs. There is the Blue Wilderness which is 100% grain free. A newer food just out is Blue Freedom which is another grain free food option, also dry. Blue Longevity and Blue Basics all address different needs of cats, and some are now in grain free versions as well. Then there are canned versions of many of the above types. All of the foods that we have tried in this collection have been very high quality. They have been health promoting and smell very good. Our favorite of all of them has been the Blue Wilderness which our cat seems to like best of all so far. His overall health is a hundred times better. People constantly remark on how different our cats look from most other cats. His fur is thick, soft, and clean smelling. He is content and does not beg constantly for food. His box is almost odorless too! Flavor Selection There is a huge variety of different flavors available in the Blue Buffalo collection of cat food. Our cat has loved every one of the things we have tried from this brand so far. He does not tend to turn up his nose at any of their foods like he does some others.
