VALENTINE'S DAY RUINED BY BLOOMSTODAY!!!!!!!!

Overall
Rated 1 out of 5

I ordered flowers to be delivered to my mother on Valentine's Day 2012. I was charged for this purchase on 2/9/12. THE FLOWERS NEVER ARRIVED!!!!! My father passed away a month ago...thought the flowers might help my mom get through this first holiday without him. When I called this morning (2/15), the idiot Customer Service woman could not get my phone number, nor my short last name correct..NO WONDER why they cannot deliver flowers! Her excuse was that Valentine's Day is very busy..gee, no kidding!! What a horrific experience...tell everyone not to use this company...what a ripoff and what a ruined holiday, too!!!!

Yet another company that makes promises it doesn't keep

Overall
Rated 1 out of 5

I ordered Mother's Day flowers to be delivered Saturday May 8th.  At 6pm on Saturday (may 8th), I received a call telling me the flowers would not be delivered.  That's great.  I not only depended on BloomToday to honor it's commitment, but I didn't expect they would cancel at the last minute (leaving me with no options).  I am very angry that this happened.

Also, on the day I ordered, they advertised 50% off all flowers ordered for that day on their website.  Yet they don't tell you until the very end of the transaction that you have to join their club in order to receive the discount.  They also don't tell you about the $14.95 charge (delivery I assume) or another $2.95 charge on top of that.  Their approach was rather deceiving.

I would never do business with this company again, and I would go out of my way to help ensure other people don't have the bad experience(s) I've had.

Bloomstoday.com does NOT deliver even a one-star rating

Overall
Rated 1 out of 5

I ordered a live plant arrangement to be delivered to my boyfriend's office for his birthday. It still hasn't arrived three days later... and there's no explanation to be had as to why. I wonder if the plants will still alive if they ever arrive.

The "sale" price was only available if you signed up for their monthly membership (billed automatically to yor credit card) and can not be cancelled during the first 14 days. This is contrary to every return policy I have ever seen. I wonder how many people sign-up and forget about it.

As well, there was a $14.95 standard service fee (in addition to the $9.95 monthly membership) on the receipt that didn't appear until AFTER I had submitted my credit card info. This erased any savings they advertised.

Fool me once, shame on me. This company won't have the chance to fool (cheat) me again.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE

Let me share briefly my experience. My Mom passed away and I was not able to attend her funeral. I was very upset over everything to begin with, but I did want to send flowers for her funeral.I saw some selections at BloomsToday and decided to place an order. They were supposed to arrive the next day for the funeral. At least I thought the flowers would at least arrive.I received no phone call. I happen to check my email around 11:am and there is an email stating "I'm sorry we are unable to deliver your flowers, we will redeliver or refund"Oh my, of course I wanted them delivered that is why I ordered them in the first placeI realized they just did not make the delivery in time, but ...

TERRIBLE CON - NOT HONEST

Overall
Rated 1 out of 5

I ordered flowers from these folks - the flowers very overpriced to begin with (in light of what arrived) - but as they were for a funeral I wanted them to be extra special. They appeared to offer me a discount for my purchase which apparently, without my knowledge signed me up for a $9.99 monthly subscription to their service as I am reading in other reviews I see this has happened to many others. This is a CON - It is impossible to contact them except by phone, so you have to wait for their open hours to query anything, - then they give you a hard sell on the subscription you did not want. Eventually they credited my card back the subscription fee - but then charged back the discount they had offered in the first place. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. There are plenty of great, HONEST alternatives.

Dishonest Advertising Practices

Overall
Rated 1 out of 5

I went to Bloomstoday and purchased flowers for my wife, her mother and my mother for Valentines. I will say the flowers sent were of good quality and overall they were pretty...BUT -- I purchased the flowers and VASE for my wife with the thought the vase could be used at her office. The vase was specifically called to attention in the description of the roses...over 90% of the description was about the vase. She receives her flowers with some cheap vase that wasn't even close the vase I purchased. I had to go to the FAQ section to find that the picture doesn't always match exactly. How can you have a description that is calling out the specific features of a vase and then hide in a FAQ section that you may not get one you think you are purchasing. I paid $105.00 for a flowers and a vase I could have picked up for $5 - $10.00 at Walmart. I will be taking advantage of the 100% guarantee.

Stupid people deserve what they get

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I made what I call the ultimate mistake while making my order with this web site....I didn't look at reviews first! At this point I am very happy I didn't though. I made an order for same day delivery, the day before Valentines Day and it was delivered same day, as promised, with absolutely no problems. The people that are whining about the "Bad customer service" are the people that are too stupid to read what they are agreeing to while taking what they think of as another Free handout (The magic discount) from a business that is trying to be profitable. If you want a free handout there is always something attached to it and you better be smart enough to read what it is. Awesome service and great company.....They will get my business in the future!

STAY AWAY!!!

Overall
Rated 1 out of 5

I have been failed before by a business promising a service of one kind or the other but I can honestly say I have never ever written a bad review until now. Such is my total disgust at this SHAM of a business. Despite the fact that I was a little annoyed with the Rewards Program requirement popping up immediately I was ready to check out my order, I went with it figuring what the heck, I can take advantage of the discounts down the road. But this garbage business confirmed my Valentines Day delivery a full 48 hours before the day so am sitting comfortable certain my flowers will get delivered to my girlfriend at her work place. Not only were the floweres never delivered, there was no ema...

Really Put a Wrinkle in Valentine's Day

Overall
Rated 1 out of 5

Do not EVER think about using this website!!! They have messed up a lot of Valentine's Day orders across the nation (I was told on the phone by one of their representatives), and they're Customer Service line is not anywhere near up-to-par. I am pretty mild mannered, but this experience has left everything to be desired...I ordered a flower arrangement and a half pound box of chocolates to be delivered to my fiancee's office for Valentine's Day. I felt comfortable ordering from them because of their 100% satisfaction guarantee, their partnerships with other trusted florists, and their delivery by 5 PM guarantee as well. I placed the order on January 24, thinking that was plenty of time t...

Ruined Valentine's- Thanks for nothing

Overall
Rated 1 out of 5

My husband tried to be nice and have flowers sent to me at work for Valkentine's Day. The order was placed and accepted with confirmation email at 8:25 am. At 1:54 he gets an email that states that the order is cancelled. and oh by the way we have charged your card $73.49!!!! The email further states that the charge will be returned to the card in 5-7 business days!!!! When he called to tell me, I tried to call the 800 number and they are not taking any calls.

THANKS YOU HAVE RUINED MY VALENTINE"S DAY!!! At least my husband tried. WHY WOULD YOU TAKE THE MONEY IF YOU CAN'T DELIVER AND THEN HOLD THE MONEY FOR 5-7 BUSINESS DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!

Service is horrible

Overall
Rated 1 out of 5

first I must say I never write reviews ever, but this was deserving of my time. This has to rate as one of the worst companies that has ever been in existence. I ordered flowers for my daughter's birthday to be delivered that on the same day. I received a call approximately two hours later saying they could not be delivered today. I said fine her birthday is actually tomorrow they just need to be there before 12 noon. I was assured they would be, however this this did not happen. I will keep this short by cutting to the chase right away. After two phone calls from one of the reps for the company to tell me certain items that I ordered were unavailable and substitutions would need to made to ...

THIS IS A SCAM! They never produced the product and charged me

Overall

One of My Best Friends lost her Mother on Thursday, 2/24/2011. I contacted Bloomstoday.com online and ordered a standing spray arrangement to be delivered by 7pm Saturday 2/26/2011 from My Family. (Their site said same day delivery guaranteed and 100% satisfaction guaranteed or money back.) I signed up for the blooms today discount of up to $35.00. I received a confirmation email for the charges and it confirmed the funeral home name, address, my friends mothers name and my contact information. The date of delivery was to be 2/26/2011 (Sat.) The Flowers never came! I contacted them Saturday evening (by calling the number to order flowers because that was the only number I could receive a per...

Worst Service EVER

Overall
Rated 1 out of 5

Please people don't user this service. I ordered Flowers for my mom on May 6th to be delivered on May 9th because she was out of town.

They called me at 3:45 pm on Monday to inform me that they "had just figured out" that they could not fill the order because they don't have any more flowers.

Then I call and every customer service rep was rude and did not give a flying crap that my mom wasn't going to receive flowers. They said "we can have them out sometime this week" REALLY????

So I asked for a refund and then called my mom. So this morning I log into my bank account and realize they didn't put a credit through they charged me AGAIN. So again I call customer service rep, rude again, actually cussed at me, which was great. Fuel the fire dummies. So they say, yes it will show as a charge for 5-7 business days until it is actually refunded. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? How is that even legal????

bloomstoday will charge your credit card every month for 9.94

Overall
Rated 1 out of 5

bloomstoday was horrible. the flowers delivered were not what was pictured at all, and when i called the actual florist he yelled at me for using them!

i signed up for the 50% discount for first time buyers and then was subsequently billed 9.95 for the month of april and then may.  i had no idea that i had enrolled in a "promotions program"  then did not tell me and i never recieved any info on the program so i could use it!!

i had to call my bank to find out why 9,94 was vbeing deducted from my account.

do not use this company they are not honest and unless you call to cancel this so called "program"  they will not terminate the charges,  i did not get my $ back from them either and they were very fresh and nasty to me.

Horrible-Pay the extra money and go to Pro-flowers

Overall
Rated 1 out of 5

I ordered a $69.99 flower arrangement for my mother's birthday. I paid the extra money for same day delivery. I signed up for the $9.99 rewards program and ordered another arrangement for my mother-in-law on Mother's Day. When my mom's flowers did not arrive I contacted BloomsToday. They assured me that the flowers would arrive by 2:00 pm. 3:00 rolls around and nothing. I called again and I was told that the order was going to be delivered the following day by 2 pm, due to the florist not being able to get the arrangement out in the time frame. I was not notified; I was not refunded my express shipping fee, nor was I compensated for anything. I cancelled both my orders and rewards me...
