I give it five stars***** —  BloodFever is book two of Karen Marie Moning's Fever series. The Fever series is a lot darker, more serious, and much more intriguing than her previous books. The Fever series isn't your typical romance, I would describe more as a dark fantasy than a romance. — When her sister is murdered, leaving a single clue to her death - a cryptic message on Mac's cell phone. Against my best intentions I read Bloodfever in one day. I say its against my best intentions because I did not plan to read this book yesterday, I wanted to wait until the 3rd book was about to be published (in September 2008) so I wouldn't have to wait so long between reading the books because they are that addictive. — MacKayla the star of this series is less annoying in the second book than she was in the first (see my review of Darkfever).
