Blood Brothers 1st book of Seven Trilogy Review

I haven't read a Nora Roberts book in many, many years.  She pretty much left the romance genre while I was still reading only romance.  I have always loved her romances.  My fiance bought me "Blood Brothers" by Nora Roberts for mothers day.  I started the book just before work on Friday and got so ingrossed that I had to finish it.  I finished it by Saturday morning.  I became so intrigued by the story of these three "brothers" and the town that they live in, I couldn't put the book down.  I am now a reader of romantic suspense and romantic paranormal.  This book is definitely falls into both of these categories.  Thankfully, my fiance bought the second book in the trilogy as well and I am just starting that and it is Saturday afternoon!!  I hate series books only in that I have to wait for the writers to finish each story!!  I am looking forward to the final book.

A brief description of this book:  3 best friends on their 10th birthday(which happens to be exactly the same day) decide to spend the night at the Pagan Stone.  They unexpectedly unleash an evil that night and every 7 years for 7 days, evil madness descends onto the citizens of Hawkins Hollow.  The three "brothers" are not men who have been trying to find a way to stop the evil.  This book introduces three ladies who appear to be able to help.  This story centers around Cal and Quinn.  Cal is one of the boys who unknowingly unleashed the evil and Quinn is an other of paranormal true stories who decides to write a book about Hawkins Hollow.    That is all I am saying about this good book.  I highly recommend that anyone who enjoys a good paranormal read that does not shower you in blood, gore, or any gross stuff, this is the book for you.  Nora Roberts tells a good story with good characters with paranormal thrown in.
