Blog of the Day Awards Review

I came across the "Blog of the Day Award" while surfing another site that had this badge posted.  This site posts a daily award for "the best selection of weblogs and famous blogs on a variety of topics." I enjoy reading the blogs from this site because there's always unusual new blogs there that I haven't seen before and many of them are of good quality.   Occasionally I will come across a blog pick that has me scratching my head as to why it was chosen. 

The website is a cut-and-dried design with rather unappealing brown background, but one forgives the lack of excitement when you find a worthy blog to read.  The site awards up to four awards per day based on quality and content. Anyone can nominate a blog and you can submit your own blog for nomination as well.  If you are a member of MyBlogLog, this site has the widget installed to leave your calling card.
