So I recently visited my local Blockbuster store where I spend at least two hours a week 15 minutes at a time deciding which season of which show I just have to rent so I can catch up on some pop culture seeing as how I've living under a rock for the last 5 years - or at least it feels that way sometimes . So anyhoo I'm there and I happen to notice a HUGEsign in the window claiming that this store is  " NOW HIRING ". Now this sign has actually been there for at least the last 3 months and seeing as how every time I go to this store, day or night, weekend or not, I only see one of the same 3...

I met Netflix as a mystery shopper, which I signed up to get a movie a week for $4. They paid for it.  After a month I am to quit.  1 movie a week?  Takes 3 days to arrive in the mail, watch it & send it back & wait for another next week.  Pretty stupid......

Then Blockbuster, who wants $5 a movie at their store, started movies by mail for $15 a month for 3 movies sent to us.  So you log on, enter you QUE with movies you want to rent. Then they take your choices to mail to you.  Watch the movie & send it back or watch 2 movies & send them back or watch all 3 & send them back.  How ever long...

 To the management of Blockbuster, I think it's terrible that you are charging $22 for me to keep my plan the same as it has been. I only switched to blockbuster from netflix because of the unlimited in store exchanges. Netflix's shipping is twice as fast as yours and I've had nothing but trouble getting this company to send my movies in a timely manner which if you have a record of my account you will see if you persist with this change I see no reason not to switch back to netflix or some other movie rental site. I absolutely LOVE my blockbuster membership. It is perfect for my husband and I, that don't get out very often. For $16.99 a month we get unlimited movie rentals (2 at a time). Here's how it works basically...

1. Sign up at Blockbuster.com
2. Add movies to your queue
3. Blockbuster ships the first 2 available movies on your list
4. You watch them when you get a chance (no due dates)
5. You either mail them back or trade them in at a Blockbuster near you (You need a store membership if you choose option #2. Only the mailed movies can be traded. The ones you get in trade-ins DO have a due date.)

I signed up for blockbuster online about 3 years ago, and I've been incredibly satified for the most part.  Depending on the plan you sign up for, you can get a lot of movies in one month for a fairly reasonable price.  I signed up for the 2 at a time with 3 free in store rentals per month, and I pay 18.01 per month which is about the cost of 1 1/2 dvds if you plan on buying them, or about 4 in store rentals.  With my plan I can rent at least 10 to 15 movies per month, because what blockbuster online doesn't tell you is that you can get 3 in store rentals per blockbuster store.  I live nearby...

This is one service you want to shy away from, not only do they lie to their customers but they are no bargain.  I know over 100 people who blog daily about the lousy service they offer.  They have a 3 dvd plan and when you sign up for it you will be lucky to get your 2 dvds in a week.  They tell customers they don't process on Mondays, Fridays and weekends.  And when they recive your titles back and they claim it takes two business days for their system to process them so if you send the dvds back on a non processing day you can expect up to a week before the next titles releases.  When you...

I loved blockbuster online when I signed up! Its right by my house... I was doing 3 movies at a time and trading in those.. So about 6 movies a week....

 Come to find out every 2-3 months my plan would go up (if not DOUBLE~) After talking to a friend that signed on the same day..... But only used 2 movies a week and maybe traded 1 a week... her plan had stayed the same.....  When I called Blockbuster to find out what the deal was... All they could say was some members prices went up and some didnt... Basiclly... If you used the service to the fullest it went up.. THEN WHY SAY UNLIMITED!!!!!!! ...
