This game is very fun and very time consuming.  If you are into mmorpgs or a beginner to them, then this is the game I would suggest for you.  WoW (World of Warcraf) is easy to use and takes hardly any computer space. (Unless you get Addons) The character creation is fun but lacks variety in looks.  You can choose from two groups with five different races on each side.  You have several different types of classes you can play and then with in those classes different types of talents.  The game also offers help tips for those first time playing.  Controls are easy and navigation takes some... review »

Now I have been playing this game for about a year and a half and let me tell you,

Its addicting, I found myself playing this game for up to 10 or 12 hours at a time it's very fun addicting to level up a character, meet friends, get new armor and do quests. I got many different characters up to high level on this games because you will find once you get to max level and get some of best armor you can get, its get boring. So you will find youself creating more characters and leveling them up all over again this game has alot of variety.

Now theres many different things to do on game such as professions...

I probably should not be writing a review on Blizzard - World of WarCraft for Windows, Mac, because I have lost my husband to another world altogether.  He has finished all 80 levels and now participates in raids and such.  At least now, he has reduced his time in this new, fascinating world to four to six hours each day.  In the beginning, he would stay up all night, sleep a few hours, go to work the next day, come home and take a quick nap, and then be right back into the game.  I rarely spent any time with him.  He tried to get me involved and I made it to level 5, but the game is very...

World of Warcraft is an massive, multi-player online role playing game in which one becomes a fantasy character from the land of Azeroth and does battles and quests to level and strengthen said character.  It is an addictive online game that allows the player to meet facinating people from around the world and chat and quest with them.  The pros of game include meeting new people, being highly entertained by many different quests, characters, levels, stories and such, and good entertainment.  There are some downsides to the game though.  It is addictive to some, there are some people who are... review »

My husband dragged me kicking into the on-line role-playing world.  I have been a table-top roleplayer since i was in middle school but I haven't enjoyed the role-playing computer games very much.  My husband said,  "Here try this it's different because it's on-line and you can develop your own character." I was surprised at how much fun I had.  I have played both EQ and World of Warcraft and I much prefer World of Warcraft.   With two chilcren I just don't have the time to sit at the computer for hours do to s raid with my guild.  World of Warcraft had quests for every level as you develop... review »

Unless you've been living in a cave for the past 4 years, you know about World of Warcraft. The mmorpg sensation based on Blizzard's Warcraft RTS series boasts well over ten million subscribers and even has celebs like William Shatner and Ozzy Osbourne doing tv ads for it now.

This game will take hours of your life. The great graphics, music and sound will hook you in, as well as the easily picked up on gameplay.

And if the original WoW is not enough for you, Blizzard offers two expansions, the latest one being Wrath of the Lich King.

I don't know what else to say here. WoW is the best mmorpg...

As far as a multiplayer online game goes, there are little to no reasons most computer gamers would not want to play World of Warcraft.  The community of players is plentiful, the game is constantly updated and kept bug-free, and the game's replay value will keep you playing avidly for years. This however conjures the question; is that really a good thing?  In my experience WoW seems to have taken an almost drug-like form.  You either despise the game for its immensely pointless and time-consuming persona, or you fall into its grasp and become addicted to it.  As one of the in-game tips... review »

I started playing World of Warcraft back when it first came out in 2004. I recently quit in January 2008. Over those four years I have encountered countless grind quests, extremely well-designed instanced dungeons, epic landscapes and characters to inhabit them, and barrens chat. Over all of that time I have logged over two months of hours. The game is positively addicitng. Almost too much.... I missed school because of it and social life for a bit. However, getting a new piece of armor or weapon made me feel much better about myself and made up for it. If you are willing to lose yourself for a... review »

WoW is the MMORPG which has drawn in fans from all areas... Not just the fantasy buffs. It provides a world which will provide a hundred hours of enthralling exploration, a few hundred hours of learning to master your character's skills, and several thousand hours of trying to squeeze the game for some enjoyment which might take you back to the levels of enjoyment you felt when it was all new. It's definitely worth the $20 for a total of 50 days in the world. Beyond the first couple months however, it's a dangerous world to remain in.

This game is amazing.  Most people think it is strictly for dweebs, nerds, and little teenage boys with nothing better to do.  It is actually a very fun game that requires skill and brains.  I am a hot mom & my husband and I play together.  we also allow our 6 year old to play on occasions to help with his reading comprehension and directional skills.

It does become a little addicting so you have to limit your play time.

I LOVE this game.  Yeah, the graphics aren't as good as, say, Age of Conan, but this game is extremely user friendly for all levels and the different options to play are great.  You can be a casual player, logging on an hour here or there, and get a lot done, or you can be an obsessive end-game player, partaking in raids, etc.  This is a great game - addictive!!

World of Warcraft is The most populated and successful MMO to date, while its graphics are not the latest thing, but its game play and questing and trying to be one of the highest level in the game is one of the funniest thing to do in an MMO. You will not be disappointed if you pick up a copy today.
