As a home owner I have garden equipment that needs to be fueled up from time to time. I also have a kerosene heater so I needed something to not only hold gasoline and kerosene I needed a quality product that worked with me.

Blitz Products

Have you ever wondered if you grabbed the right can to fill your lawn tractor, tiller, a diesel generator or your personal vehicle? Well fear no more Blitz has the answer to all your needs. Made of high strength molded plastic right here in the U.S.A in NE Oklahoma and they are self venting which is a good thing. Blitz makes 3 colored containers Red for Gasoline, Blue for Kerosene and Yellow for Diesel. Now you don't have to guess which one you need to grab when you go to fill your equipment or your vehicle.

The pouring spout will store inside the can when not in use by simply flipping it one way or the other. It doesn't leak and with the self venting feature there is no little cap top lose each time you use the can. There is a handle on top and a grab handle on the side to let use use both hands to control the can as you fill your equipment up. They store easy and they will never rust. Each can runs about $6 to $8 depending on where you buy them.

Bottom Line

Never get mixed up again as to which can holds what with 3 colors you can use them for whatever you want. Blue is also the color of water container's so you can take one camping with you and have 5 gallons of fresh water when you need it. Don't have a panic attack next time you grab a container, just grab a Blitz and let your color be your guide!

In response to mrkstvns's comment from Jan 18, 2008 at 8:33AM:

That's just how the petroleum industry did it, and yes the sports people use blue for water...go figure? On the bright side a water container is shaped different. ;-)

Blue for kerosene, eh? What color would you use for WATER?!?!? (You can tell I don't have a bunch of combustibles lying around, can't you?)
