this is the only medicated lip ointment for me and my family. the first blistex i had was given to me by my husband when we were still dating. my lips hurt because they were cracked and very dry and i didn't know what to do because it was my first winter ever. (I was born and raised in a tropical country). i was amazed at how fast and long lasting the relief was. it was very effective and i didn't need to use it too much after that first time.
