I one million times love Blistex Medicated Lip Balm, SPF 15. I have been using it for well over fifteen years. I never leave home without it. I have one in all of my purses, next to the couch, in the bathroom, in my make up bag, and, and, and... Of all of the the lip balms, Blistex is the best. It is smooth and glides right on. When my lips are chapped and I put some on all I think is "ahhh" what a relief! I almost feel naked without some on my lips. For many years I only used Blistex and never any lip stick because it made my lips look that good! I have tried other lip balms and they either just make my lips drier or taste awful. Blistex is slightly minty, but not that fake mint that takes your breathe away. I would not change anything about it. I do think my title is the truth though. You should get a reward for finishing a stick before losing it. I have maybe in my lifetime finished three balms before losing them. Ha!

Seriously, don't leave home without it! I am a chronic lip balm addict. Once upon a time I was addicted to ChapStick but after a while, it stopped working. It coated my lips and made them feel waxy, but it didn't do anything to ease the discomfort of chapped lips. My husband was instructed to grab me a tube of lip balm at the drug store while he was out, and Blistex Medicated is what he came home with. I was skeptical at first, because I'm not a huge fan of change. And then I tried it. It was like I had used lip balm for the first time. The burning, chapped skin was instantly soothed, and it lasted for hours as opposed to the other brands which needed frequent reapplying. It's comparable in price, tastes fine (no medicine-y taste like some other brands), goes on smoothly, lasts for hours, and offers some protection from the sun. I keep a tube in my pocket at all times, now. It's great stuff!

Blistex medicated lip balm has been around for as long as I can remember! I always remember my mother using this lip balm and she still uses it to this day and there's one reason for that - because it works! It's absolutely bargain priced for how well it works but that's what I have come to expect from the blistex brand of lip balms! This lip balm is easy to use and it glides right onto my lips very easily. It feels smooth and light when it is on my lips. This lip balm is great for protecting and repairing dry and chapped lips especially in the cold winter months! It keeps my lips smooth and relieves them of any dryness so I instantly feel more comfortable and soothed. It has a smell unlike anything else, it's hard to describe but it smells great very sophisticated! I also like how this lip balm has SPF 15 so it not only protects my lips from harsh winter air but it also protects from the harsh summer sun, definitely recommend for extremely dry or damaged lips and for everyday use!

I really don't get fever blisters until it's Fall or Winter. As soon as it starts to get cold I buy medicated Blistex. In my opinion, it's the best blister prevention out there. When I feel my mouth start to tingle I put a generous amount of Blistex on my lips and it nips it in the bud right there. However, there are ties when my lips skip the tingling phase and I wake up with a nasty fever blister. (They really are annoying aren't they?) No problem for me though, all I do is apply some Blistex on my lips and add another coating directly on the fever blister. The next morning when I wake up it's either gone or just about there. The key to any fever blister is to catch it as soon as you feel it coming on, that way you can get rid of it without having to go out in public trying to hide your face. I promise you, this medicated Blistex will always be the obvious choice when it comes to getting rid of them. It's fast acting and it takes the worry away. You can rest assure knowing that you won't have that nasty blister on your lip for long!

I have been using Blistex Medicated Lip Balm for many years now. I have tried nearly every brand there is available and this product has to fall in my top three favorites. In fact, it is no less a favorite than the other two brands in my top three, but it is cheaper. It is one of the most inexpensive brands of lip balm but its performance is undeniable. Firstly the SPF 15 is invaluable in our 100 degree summer temperatures, thanks to Blistex I've never had sunburn. The medicated aspect of this lip balm is unusual. You put it on and at first, your lips just feel smooth and moisturised. A few minutes later, they turn slightly cool and it's like your warm skin has activated the medicated ingredient. If I had to be critical, which I would be loathe to do as it is such a great product, I would say that I ususally keep Blistex in my front pocket which is close to my skin. My skin seems to warm it up somewhat and then when I come to use it, it's a little too soft and I end up plastering on more than is necessary. But generally, this is a super lip balm which I would highly recommend, even for children.

Whenever I have chapped or dry lips, I turn to my Blistex Medicated lip balm, and even after just one application, my lips feel so much better. There is instant relief of my pain and dryness, a wonderful cooling sensation, and a long lasting effect. I might not need to re-apply the lip balm for hours if I'm not eating or drinking.

I have used Blistex medicated lip balm for a very long time. I like this over other brands because this glides on smoothly and feels good on my lips. It say medicated, but I only feel a little bit of a minty taste on my lips. The other brand I have used feels too waxy on my lips. This also contains spf 15 so it is good sunscreen for the lips. This product goes on sale quite often and there also is a coupon in the sunday paper at times, so blistex lip balm is a very affordable product.

In another review, I described my battle with random summer chapped lips, a huge cold sore, and Fordyce Granules (basically pimples on the lips that are long lasting, benign, and have no real treatment). After begging my general practitioner, Doctor Google, to treat me because I was desperate and in pain, I found a glimmer of hope - a post on a message board declaring the wonders of Blistex in helping Fordyce Granules. I had tried everything else and figured I had nothing to lose, so I went to the store that night and picked up Blistex Medicated Lip Ointment and this product. I started with the Medicated Lip Ointment and it worked so well that I didn't even have to experiment with this product. Now that my lips are completely healed, I figured I should give this product a chance since I bought it. While it's okay, I'm honestly not that crazy about it. The scent/taste of the medicated lip ointment doesn't bother me in the least - it just seems minty to me. But something seems off about the scent of this one to me. I also don't care for the texture and don't feel it gives me the same level of moisturization as the other Blistex product I tried. I'm going to be donating this one to my sisters while I keep the good stuff for myself. ;)

This is my go to lip balm for when its really hot or cold outside since it works wonders for chapped lips. I started using it cause my ex boyfriend loved it and always carried one with him. Now I always carry one with me ( i know i've done a few reviews on lip balm but I love them and carry quite a few brands). I love that its blueish color is so different then my other brands I can find it in my purse quickly. I love the way your lips feel soft and wet after using this product. It really hydrates my lips and soothes any pain from cracks or tears in my lips. I bite my lip a lot for some reason probably out of stress and this doesnt burn on the bites. I love that it helps heal and has SPF. Really great product has a slightly mediciney smell to it but that doesnt bother me and it doesnt have a weird taste so its great. I love the price you cant beat a great product for a low price. I am in love with blistex and always recommend it when anyone asks me what product to use.

I have always used lip care products multiple times a day. My lips have a tendency to dry out quickly and then chap and crack. Yes, it is very annoying and unattractive. I have tried many different products to alleviate my lip issues, but am always coming back to Blistex Medicated Lip Balm SPF 15. No other lip product even compares to this one. It goes on smoothly and evenly (no waxy feelings or chunk ups of lip product) and lasts a long time. I love the fact that it has 15 SPF which gives my lips necessary daily added protection from the sun. It keeps my lips moisturized, smooth, and kissable. My husband even uses this lip product now, as does my two and a half year old son on occasion. I am all praises when it comes to this product and would recommend it to anyone who wants to keep their lips in good care/shapr but doesn't want to spend a fortune or a lot of time doing so. This is really a close to perfect product.
