Not a fan of this one, I love original Blistex, but this one has an odd flavor to it, not that I eat it lol, but whenever you eat or drink it transfers. It does condition well, but I just can't get past the strange taste.

Blistex is a known maker of lip care for men, women and children. They make a medicated lip balm of which I purchased the berry flavored one. This comes in a red colored tube of sheer relief when used on those dry and chapped lips. Blistex is so small, approximately 2 inches long, that it can fit in a mans shirt or pants pocket or a ladies purse. I try to keep one of these on hand for those times when it seems like a dire lip emergency and I need the moisturizer to be applied as soon as possible. No more lip smacking or licking the lips when I use this. It is handy enough that you can use it several times a day if you feel the need to. Kids will tend to do this and it won't hurt a bit. The bottom of the tube has a small turn dial so when the cap is removed, you turn the bottom and it will push the lipbalm up for your use. Only needing to go up a small amount at a time, this will last a while for the money. I love to have lip balm so that I can always have smooth mosturized lips. Blistex Lip Balm does this with the added bonus of SPF 15 so that my lips are also protected. It is also very cheap and is therfore a good choice for any bargin hunter looking for quality and at a good price. IT is not thick or sticky.One problem I have with Blistex Medicated Lip Balm Berry SPF 15 is that it does not smell like berrys to me. I brought it because I am not a fan of mint and thought that the berry would be smell sweet. In my opoion it does not really have a good smell at all. It is not such an issue that I would stop using it, I was just a bit disappointed. I ould recommend Blistex Medicated Lip Balm Berry SPF 15 to females and males as the smell is not girly in anyway and would say it is for all age groups. There are othe scents in the Blistex Brand Medicated kip Balm SPF 15 and would advise shoppers to try them all.

I was initially a little disappointed when I bought this chapstick because I was looking for an affordable substitute to Burt's Bees Lip Shimmers and wanted something that would make my lips slightly tinted with a cherry red, which this chapstick did not have. However, it has more than redeemed itself over the course of this past brutal winter. Usually chapsticks only make my dehydrated lips flake off their top layer. However, Blistex glides on smoothly and creamily enough that it can not only masquerade as a lip gloss of sorts on more low-key days, but adheres my peeling and cracking lip skin to its more moist underlayer so that I don't get mouth dandruff (sorry for the gross analogy). I'd also swear there was some sort of analgesic in it, as one day my lips' skin had peeled painfully thin in the middle and was throbbing with pain until I applied a generous layer of it. The pain subsided within minutes. Thanks Blistex!

My lips are usually chapped, not smooth, and they tend to bleed. This was the perfect solution to all those maladies, but this product also made my lips smooth and perfect! It is extremely inexpensive and affordable, and works just as well, if not better, than other expensive medicated products to treat chapped lips. Unlike other lip balms, which tend to be waxy, blistex medicated berry balm is smooth, non waxy, and penetrates the lips to provide amazing moisture. The smell is not extremely fruity or overpowering like the Chapstick products, which don't treat the lips at all. This makes my lip smooth, moisturized, chapfree, and kissable! There is also no waxy flavor, in fact there is no real flavor at all. Most other medicated products i've tried on my lips sting or burn, or smell extremely overpowering and medicine-y, but blistex, as usual, is amazing! This product got me hooked on the other blistex products. It has many other benefits, though. It is also a sunscreen, with a spf of 15. This is the best lip balm I have ever used, and it makes my lips feel amazing. I would recommend it to EVERYONE.

I have used Blistex Medicated Berry Lip Balm for many, many years.  This product goes on smooth and feels good on your lips.  It is not waxy like other brands tend to be.  It does not have any tint of color.  It is very inexpensive and I have one with me all of the time.  It has no taste so it doesn't interfere with other products.  It says it is medicated but you do not taste any kind of medication from it.  It softens lips nicely and goes on under other lip stick or lip gloss or other lip products.  It could be used by itself but it does not produce any shine by itself.  Each tube will last a while.  I am one to try other products but with this one I always seem to come back to it as I like the consistency of it and the feel of it on my lips.  It is not cakey and it is does not look like you have anything on your lips.  This can be used for a female or male as it doesn't look like lipstick on your lips.

I have to admit, for years and years all I used was Chapstick brand lip balms.  It's what we had always used growing up, so I didn't know any better.  Thankfully, I wised up!  The store I went to was out of cherry Chapstick, so I settled on the medicated berry Blistex.  I sure am glad I "settled"! Blistex is so much better because it's smooth and not waxy like Chapstick.  With Blistex, I feel like I get much better coverage and it seems to stay on much longer.  While I can't say there's any real discernable flavor, it doesn't taste bad at all.  And the biggest bonus - it's cheap!

Blistex products are and always have been high quality.  The perfect size and in stick form, I always have one in my pocket and use religiously throught the day.  With SPF 15, I know I am getting the lip protection I need.  The Berry is one of my favorite flavors because it has a light scent and doesn't have a fruity taste (I don't like flavored tasting lip balms and glosses).  As all Blistex products, the medicated lip balm makes my lips smooth and is relief to chapped lips.  The texture of the balm itself is not too waxy like Chapstick and not to greasy like Caramex.  This is an all around great product that is perfect for every day use and works great used alone and even under lipstick.  At a great price, always buy a few - one for my pocket, one for my purse, one for work....for those occassions when I am not wearing pants with pockets.

I have always been a fan of Blistex products.  The quality can't be beat and the price is even better!  I don't see the point and buying more expensive medicated products when something so cheap and easy to get at the drug store check out line works just as good! I wear the berry scented lip balm on a daily basis, in replacement of more cosmetic lip gloss.  The flavor is light and yummy and it keeps my lips feeling soft and unchapped.  I really like that it includes a light SPF sun protection as well.  Even during the winter months it is important for me to keep my lips safe and protected. Blistex berry scented lip balm is compact too, which is also a big bonus.  I can keep a stick in each of my coat pockets and my purse, so it is always on hand when I need a new application.  It is not as greasy as other brands, and it one of the few 'cosmetics' I can share with my husband and children :)
