Black & Decker Die-Cast Metal 5-Speed

I bought this blender specifically for crushing ice to make smoothies and because it has a glass not plastic pitcher, unfortunately it just scrapes the ice a little and basically just whirls the ice around the glass pitcher. It's pretty though.

in the magic bullet, all the food rises to the top of the cup and stays there, so you constantly have to keep shaking the cup so that all of the food is blended. it will blend and push the other ingredients upwards. then after a year of that it burns out.

Osterizer Blender 14 speed

Osterizer Blender 14 speed

I brought this Osterizer 14 speed blender to make idli, dosa batter and also the chutney and the powders. But this is surely not meant for these things. Every time i used it, i had a hard time as i had to push the food to the bottom so that it gets grinded. I could not even make garlic paste out of this.

But yes, it can grind liquids very well.

I purchased my Blendtec at Costco after watching a demonstration where my daughters and I sampled a smoothie, ice cream, and soup-all made within minutes with the Blendtec blender. I had been looking for a blender after seeing a friend's Vita Mixer. I was pleased with the look and size of the Blendtec in comparison to the Vita Mixer. It was much smaller and didn't require taking appart to clean. It comes in one piece so there is no need to remove blades and rubber stops that may eventually leak. The quick easy cleanup was a real selling point for me. The first two months I made yummy smoothies...

I got this for my college apartment, because I figured one person didn't really need a full-size blender, and I had seen this one advertised and it looked...interesting, so I decided to give it a shot. I have definitely like that it is small and does not take up too much space, and it actually is a decent blender. I have not been too impressed with it though. It is your basic blender. It does blend things pretty quickly though (it has to because if you leave it running for more than 30 seconds, you'll destroy the thing). It's also not too loud which is always a plus. I really do like the idea of...

GE ge blender model 169188

GE ge blender model 169188
fun loving

NOV

2009

Bought the GE blender model 169188 at our local walmart so I could make Smoothies for my son. We made sure it was powerful, so it could chop ice without burning up the motor. This particular model was 600 watts, 120 VAC, 60 Hz. It should have been powerful enough, but the motor burnt up within the first month.... And it wasn't while it was in use, the blender was plugged in but off, and unused when it opted to die.

In the 1980's I had an Oster Kitchen center. It included a blender, food processor, stand mixer, slicer, and meat grinder. When the motor finally burned out after about 18 years of frequent use, I was sad to see it go. I found out that my newer Oster blender is compatible with my Kitchen center's food processor accessories, jars, bases, and blades, and I was back in business. I've since purchased extra blender blades, jars and a larger food processor attachment. My basic Oster blender is awesome. I partially defrost meat chunks and grind them in the processor. I shred cabbage, grind potatoes,...

Magic Bullet The Magic Bullet

Magic Bullet The Magic Bullet
looking for durability

NOV

Last Christmas, I saw the commercial on television for the Magic Bullet, and I thought that it might make a good present for my girlfriend for our kitchen. I have bought one or two things from television ads, and they usually are just OK, not living up to the hype. I fully expected us to maybe use it three or four times and then forget about it. But as it turns out, we've had it almost a year and we still use it all the time! My girlfriend and I both like to cook, so it gets used almost every day.I use it quite often for breakfast, making omelettes mostly. It works great for chopping up vegetables...

Its a baby toy. there is nothing to blend it, its worst to buy. I dont know what was the need of disign such blender, which can not blend anything, no tomatto, no onion. it s better to cut veggies in to small peieces rather then chop them in this blender. I throw the box on very same day i bought, thats why I could not return this product. I through it in my garbage bin.

Magic Bullet Magic Bullet Blender - As Seen on TV

Magic Bullet Magic Bullet Blender - As Seen on TV
fun loving, too busy to make beds

NOV

The Magic Bullet isn't an everything blender, there are things you would be better off using a full sized blender, but for what it does it is great. Using it for everything from making pancakes, to mixing eggs for omelets, it is quick and easy, and easy to clean.

The best thing is the 4 drink cups. They are made so you can put the ingredients right into the cup and pop it on to the mixing top and make mixed and frozen drinks. Then you put on a drink lip, 4 different colors, so you can make sure you have your own, and just drink right out of the cup after mixing. The kids can make frozen slurpee...

Hamilton Beach Blender-Smoothie Maker

I bought  this portable blender from wal mart to make smoothies in. it serves about two people. Very  durable because i bought it a while now for a bout fifteen bucks. its on the go so i can make my smoothie and drink from the same cup. I dont have  to wash two sets of cups! The  blender is very  easy to use just make sure you add  liquid first because its hard for it to blend if its  only solid and no liquid and then you add the other stuff later.  Its very easy  to clean and very  easy to travel with in you car  cup  holder. Its so small that I even use it at work to make my smoothies....

KitchenAid Blender-Smoothie Maker

KitchenAid Blender-Smoothie Maker

NOV

I am an avid milkshake and smoothie maker-there is no flavor or combination of fruits and/or ice cream or frozen yogurt I have not at least experimented with, not to mention every possible kind of frozen coffee drink-even eggnog during the holidays.  This machine is a MUST, because it can handle the volume and quantity of drinks I like to make, without smelling hot, or unevenly blending-my blender pet peeves.  I hate having to stop a blender and stick a utensil in to push what it is failing to blend toward the blades.  I have bought or been given many "blenders" as gifts, but came to realize...
