These elastics come in both black and clear and in two sizes. One size is mini and the other is for longer hair. I buy the large size. I always buy clear. I like the no elastic elastic look. These stretch a LOT without breaking and easily hold my thick long hair back or up. They don't slide out of my hair or loose their tightness at all even for hours at a time. When it is time to remove the elastics, I just have to slide them down and out of my hair. No tangling, no breakage, and no damage. These are by far the best elastics I have used. I have tons of the colored ones with metal on them and some without metal, scrunchies, barrettes, banana clips, you name it. But when I want to get my hair up and off my face without pain or fuss, I reach for a Blax Snag Free Hair Elastic.

These come in a black matchbook-like cardboard container and come eight to a pack for the 4mm size I use and 12 to a pack for the 2mm small size. They are around $3.00-$3.50 and well worth it. They don't break and they don't damage my hair. It seems I always have one on my wrist in case my hair starts to drive me crazy. With very long hair, it just gets in the way at times and that's when I pull the elastic off my wrist and secure my hair in it. I really like these!

My Viewpoint

These are simple, no frills elastics that don't damage or break my hair and are durable. Many elastics break after a few uses but I have used these elastics many times over and there is no sign of wear. They hold my hair securely and slide out when I am ready to remove them. 5 stars for simplicity.
