I'm not one for buying clothing via the internet. I don't like the fact that I cannot see, touch, or try on the item of clothing and the prices online are often higher than those charged at my favorite stores. Be very careful with this online company.  If you deal with them be prepared to get Terrible Awful Lousy Atrocious Bad Horrible customer service!

I have been a satisfied customer for years but am alarmed now.  An order placed two weeks ago is still in the "processing" status and the customer service telephone lines are being met with an automated response that informs "due to heavy volume call back later".  When I did get a live person on the line a few days ago I was told that the "shipping department is backed up" and that a delivery date could not be determined.  I do notice that I am continuing to receive email and catalog solicitation to purchase Blair products.  It is apparent that orders being placed now are in jeopardy of very... read full review »

I ordered 2 robes and 2 pairs of slippers from Blair on Nov. 28th. All items were in stock. It is now Dec. 21st and my order still has not shipped. I've called every day and been on hold for hours. Up until yesterday I was assured that my order would be here in time for Christmas. Now they're telling me it won't be here for Christmas, and they won't cancel my order because it's already in the system. Since I used a debit card, I can't even go out to another store and replace the presents. Thanks to Blair, I won't have presents for my husband and son this year. This is my first and last time ever...

I have ordered clothing from Blair for years and am nearly always pleased.  The problem is with their credit department.  I had a phantom $67 charge come up on my account, which had been dormant for a couple of years.  It took over a dozen phone calls, four letters and a fax to finally get the charge removed.  In all, it was 6 months to straighten out their one mistake.  The customer service folks are very limited in their English and were unable to help.  It was a very difficult process to even reach someone who could understand my problem.  I may order from Blair again, but I closed my... read full review »

Blair.com reminds of the old fashioned bargain basement sales that department stores commonly held to excite shoppers who wanted to stretch their dollars.  Truthfully, there is no glitz or fizz to be found here at Blair.com. 

Now that you can find trendy and designer merchandise at stores like Target, it's sometimes surprisingly harder to find basic pieces that aren't trying to make a design statement.   A simple cardigan, sheer window panels, and comfy cotton pajamas don't always need an edgy design or high price tag.  When I need something simple and basic I always make it a point to check...

I have shopped from Blair dot com several times over the years as my father prefers their clothing. He is 80+ years old and hard to buy for! I placed an online order on December 1, 2008 and didn't think much about it. Always before I have gotten quick delivery and then many catalogs! This transaction has been very different. I placed an order on Blair.com 12/8/2008.  I called Blair.com on 12/19 -- 9 business days later because the on-line order status hadn't changed to ship yet.  After several times not being able to get through I was told that the order had left their warehouse that day.  Apparently she lied, I still hadn't recieved it today 12/23 so I called again.  This time they told me there was a 'problem' in their warehouse and the order hadn't even shipped.  I asked them to cancel the order, The service rep Joyce #4554 said she didn't have the authority to cancel.  I was on hold for over an hour insisting... read full review »

I placed two orders from Blair.com the day after Thanksgiving and was PROMISED they would arrive in time for Christmas.  They billed my credit card and it is not 01/05/2008 and I have received one item out of $500.00 I spent with them.  The one item is far from what they described and when you call their 1-800-821-5744 customer service number, you get a recording saying they are "experiencing a high call volume and are unable to handle your call at this time, please try again later."  I have tried for three and a half weeks - hundreds of times - day, night, mid day, middle of the night.  It...

Blair has a lot of nice clothes... well made and a very fair price. But, when it comes to them communicating with you it is like pulling teeth. It takes way to long to ship out the order. If the item is listed as being in stock I would think that it would be shipped out either that day or the day after... I am still waiting for my order to ship that I placed Nov 5th, today is the 13th... I email them and it takes forever for them to respond or they write and tell you the ordered is being processed... but... it still does not ship for days. Blair.com appears to provide value but if you look closer the quality of the items is often low and details such as fabric type are sometimes left off.

For example you if you order an item such as a pair of pants that turn out to be polyester when you were expecting a blend don't be surprised. After the second time this happened I started calling all my orders in. But the telephone reps often don't have more information than the online catalog. Additionally their sizes are confusing and wrong. Often an item like a shirt is sized s, m, xl, 2xl and you can't figure out what the "Blair size" corresponds...

I have been buying things for myself for some time from Blair, but not too long ago I received a men's catalog which I showed to my son who needs  2xl size.  He got so excited and we ordered the most beautiful knit shirts in several colors WITH POCKETS. They fit perfectly and have been washed any number of times and look like new.  It is almost impossible to get shirts with pockets.  I don't know what the manufacturers are thinking when they ship to most of the stores. At any price you can't find pockets!

Several charges to my account for shipping.  BEWARE!  CHECK YOUR CREDIT ACCOUNTS FOR UNAUTHORIZED CHARGES FOR SHIPPING BY BLAIR!  They backorder at least one item from every order (that is initially in stock) just to charge you extra for a 2nd pkg!!  Terrible company!  A rip off.  4 weeks to mail my order???  3 orders in 3 months, not one right!!

Blair.com has been my primary site for casual clothing for over five years. They have many sales and their overall pricing is very good. Clothing is of superior quality.

I signed up for Blair.com emails and on the weekend after Thanksgiving they sent one promising 20% off your entire order. I ordered several tops on 12/1 while the special was still in effect. Unfortunately, even though I clicked through to Blair.com from the email, I couldn't see that the discount had been applied.

I sent an email immediately asking for clarification and received a reply a day later saying that the order was "in the shipping area" and they would watch for it to go out and be sure the discount was applied at that time. I sent another email 12/15 (12 days/7 business days later)...
