Not worth the money.
I upgraded my original Blackberry to the Storm 2 and was very excited at first. I like the organizational features of Blackberry and the ease of a touch screen, however, I dislike that Blackberry lacks a contract with certain vendors and does not provide for a pleasant browsing experience when searching the web or attempting to use this "smartphone" for what other smartphones are capible of doing. Really, unless you are absolutely attached to your calendar, this phone isn't worth the money. Battery Life As with any phone, if you continuosly drain the batter, it will tend not to keep a charge for a period of time. I made every effort to make sure my battery was charged and alway traveled with a portable charger, but seldom needed to use it. The batter life was good. Display/Screen Quality I really liked the large screen and clarity on this phone. Call Quality I live in an area where there are lots of cell towers so reception was alway clear. I don't like to hold the phone up to my head however because the phone often got hot, so most of the time I would keep it on speaker and carry on with whatever it was that I was doing when the call came in. Often that ment the phone was placed on a counter as I walked around doing things. Not once did any of my calls ever complain they couldn't hear me or that the reception was bad. I was very pleased. Ease of Use This phone lost its luster once Android phones hit the market and took off. Up until then, this phone was great, except for accessign the internet and browsing. I hated not being able to view sites because the website did not support the phone browser. I loved that even though it had a touch screen face, it interacted with the user as if it weren't by creating a tapping sound and vibration when typing. It was a great feature for those of us who had transitioned from a push button phone to a touch screen. Durability I protected the phone with a silicon cover and found that to add to its durability and grip when I dropped it. After some time however, the touch screen features began to malfunction and it became difficult to use because the phone wouldn't recognize what I was pressing or trying to select.
