Most HelpfulSo my sister needed to get a "smart phone" for her trip to Europe this summer, and my mother just happened to have a "buy one get one free" coupon for the Blackberry - Storm 9530 Cell Phone so she decided to get one for each of us as a present. I was very worried that this was going to be far too...

Most HelpfulI got the Blackberry Storm 9530 from Verizon as an offer to return to their service, but I ended up paying $65.00 (after $100 rebate from RIM).
Coverage/speed: I am quite satisfied with Verizon's coverage from my previous phone. But with BB Storm, network activities paused in the beginning and...

It's touchscreen and the screen actually clicks, and it doesnt have the annoying little ball that you have keep changing. I love it, and especially because i get to im all blackberry users no matter what network they are on through the blackberry messenger for free.
The Storm is an excellent product, with loads of features! Starting with the basics, the Storm provides a full QWERTY tactile keyboard in both landscape and portrait modes, as well as the familiar "multi-tap" in portrait mode. This tactile keyboard gives you feedback when you press the touchscreen keys.
Synchronizing with either Mac or PC is easy, and offers multiple options. On the Mac, you can sync with iCal, Now Calendar, LotusNotes, MeetingMaker, Entourage and Entourage2008 calendars. Contacts can be synced with the Mac Address Book, Entourage, LotusNotes, and MeetingMaker. Task synchronization...
read full review »The BLACKBERRY STORM 9530 is my first smartphone. I had been very curious about why someone would want to have so many capabilities on a phone until I got one. Now it's like a drug like texting while doing everything. There are so many applications you can get for free on the Storm 9530 including an ebook reader with a 10,000 book library, a artist specific radio station called Pandora Radio, games galore, I even have an application called Drive Safe L Y that reads you your text messages while driving. It is a kooky little piece of technology to have in one's pocket. Just twenty years...
read full review »I really, really wanted an iPhone but AT&T has a horrible reputation, both for call service & 3G service. I was already on the Verizon network so really my only option was the Blackberry Storm. It's a nice looking phone, although a little heavy. At first, it worked very clunky - as if it were thrown together to compete with the iPhone without much thought after the fact. There have been some server updates pushed to the phones that have made them much better. Not perfect, but not better.
I like that the screen clicks - it helps prevent typing unwanted words. However, the phone sucks up memory like...
read full review »I purchased the Blackberry Storm 9530 back in March. I thought it was a great phone and very cuting edge. I believe that is would very comparable to the iPhone. I really enjoyed the phone at first but after a month or so it would the phone would freeze. Any time it would freeze I would have to pull the battery from the back of the phone.
The first update was better, but really did not fix any of the freezing issues. It did did add a few features, but the freezing still made things pretty aggravating after a few times of use. Blackberry just pushed out an update a few weeks ago and...
read full review »Where I live AT&T sucks! Verizon works the best out of the providers available and is worth the extra month per month to have. I absolutely had to have a cell phone with apps, a camera with a flash, and unlimited data access.
So many of my friends have Blackberrys that I kind of wanted a Blackberry but I wanted a touchscreen. When I found the Storm available at an online retailer, I was sold!
It has apps available on it and you can download Blackberry App World and then download free or at-cost apps for it. I do feel like all Blackberrys should come automatically with App Word pre-installed. ...
read full review »The Blackberry Storm phone is one of the best phones I have ever bought. When I first bought it I did not like it but got use to it and now I love it. It does just about anything you want it to do. The new OS 5.0 is a great update for the phone. It is a lot faster and doesnt lage what so ever. Also the features on the new OS are very cool. This a great phone especially for the price. This was actually my first Blackberry so it wasnt the most basic one out there but I got use to it real fast. I can keep in touch with all I need to do. The phone was at first very slow and froze...

read full review »The blackberry storm 9350 is a great phone just for style. Its belongs in the category of showy phones. There are a few drawbacks, the touchscreen is most times very annoying and thought you have the option of adjusting the sensitivity the movable screen just isn't the best idea. All this takes some getting used to though. I have had it for three months and still make the silliest mistakes when texting. The option of all three screens for typing is GREAT and the best thing about it is that you have so many choices but not too many. Almost anything on the phone is adjustable (sensitivity, eic) and...
read full review »The Blackberry Storm 9530 is a phone with so many features you can spend a lot of time trying out all the things the phone will do. I love to check the weather reports on the phone which you can access through the web system or the navigation system. The gps works great and can be very helpful when you are in an area that you are unfamiliar with to see exactily were you are.
A few times the screen has frozen up and I was able to start over and get the results I was looking for. The web browser is very user friendly and you can change the size of the image very easily.
The blue tooth wireless...

The storm is a great phone to have if you text daily, take tons of pictures/videos, and want to be in touch with your personal and/or business e-mails. This phone stores GB's of media, and keeps you up to date with your e-mails, aim, Facebook, & Myspace accounts. Also, if you have this phone, you do not need a MP3 player. This phone stores enough music for you to listen for a good couple of hours. There are some downfalls though....

The second one I had issues with the sound but once again verizon was great about switching it out for me. I now have a great phone that works wonderfully. I love being able to check my emails where ever I happen to be. I was afraid at first of switching to a blackberry thinking it would be very hard to learn and use, but I was wrong. This phone is so easy to use and if you do have problems it has step by step tutorials to teach you how to use it...
read full review »I love my storm. It has great sound quality, good picture and video quality as well. It offers internet and a few apps to add. Blackberry messenger is also available. You can customize it in a great many ways. I haven't had any problems out of mine other than a rare froze screen. I use mine daily as my alarm and book reader. It also comes with an 8 gig card so you can load up the pictures, videos, songs, books or whatever. No need for the ipod any longer. I loved that the only thing I had to buy was the screen protector, I highly recommend one before the first use. The screen does scratch easily...
