Blackberry - Pearl Smartphone Cell Phone —
I don't fully use the Pearl because I do not have e-mail service on it. But even without e-mail, it is a compact phone with ability to sync calendar & contacts with Outlook so I replaced my Palm and my cell phone with a single decvice. And it's smaller than either of them!The "pearl" track ball is a great user interface. Now I have only had this about 4 months so hopefully it won't wear out anytime soon, but it's a very intuitive interface.
The phone is far clearer than any cell phone I have previously owned, but maybe that's the AT&T service (I used to be Sprint).
Suspect if you did a lot of texting or e-mail, the shared keys could be a bit of a hiderance, but they are fine for me since I do the vast majority of my typing on my PC.
