Blackberry - Pearl 8130 Cell Phone Review

For a long time I had been saying I wanted an iPhone, but I really did not want to change carriers from Verizon Wireless.  I had dealt with the "other" phone company with a work Blackberry in the past and they were very hard to deal with, the story seemed to always change.  I enjoy my Verizon Wireless family and have had great service from them...including when I called to tell them I wanted something like an iPhone.

The lovely customer service lady found me a MEGA deal on a BlackBerry Pearl...I wanted one after my friend Todd showed me he could get on Facebook!  And then I started looking at available applications for BlackBerry - Pandora!  Yes please! 

So for like $20, and an extra $30 a month I am "cracking" along!!!

I also got several deals on accessories, the Golla carrying case I reviewed here - check that one out because those things ROCK!  A bluetooh capable speaker phone for the car, a larger memory card, etc. 

I even got SUPERB service when I called for help to load that memory card! 

The keyboard on the Pearl is smaller, but it has not taken long to get used to it at all!

Blackberries are the best.  Forget the iPhone! 

Unless you LIKE that other phone company.
