Blackberry - Curve Cell Phone —

The BlackBerry Curve (8300) PDA / Cell phone is a bit buggier in it's initial release than the 8830 World Edition Smart Phone.  I find that the updates to the browser are definately better and support HTML features much better than previous versions of the BlackBerry browser, but the device is slower to respond and freezes up on me from time to time.  My Curve is connected to a company BES and I have not noticed any disadvantages on this phone with the BES.  It is very easy to tether this cell phone to my laptop and use it as a modem.  I have noticed a number of discrepencies in reporting missed calls when not having any missed calls, or notifications of new messages when I do not have any unread or new messages.  If you are familiar with BlackBerry, there are not many new surprises or any learning curve associated with this particular device.  I previously had a World Edition 8830 and have found that that OS is more stable than the one provided with the Curve.  A definate benefit to the Curve is the camera function, and is the main reason why I switched to the Curve.  I think that once BlackBerry releases later OS builds for this device it will be just as solid as my World Phone was.
