To the Point

I did a lot of research from online sites to strangers on the street before buying my Blackberry Curve 8330. We changed phone plans so the phone, which may cost you several hundreds of dollars, cost me $99.99. I did bring it back once before our 30 days were up and got a new phone. I'm not...

Here's my take on the curve: top of line for email and texting- nothing compares to this for frequent business use imho.  I don't need my laptop if I have my curve.

The size is also excellent- very easy to keep in a pocket but not too small to type with quickly - and I have to type some several paragraph...

I had been waiting on the iPhone 3G to come out since it was going to be cheaper and supposedly better than the original...  but after hearing the reviews and taking a hands on look, I realized that it wouldn't serve my needs.  I am a systems engineering consultant and always on the road, so I needed to be able to log in to customer systems on my laptop from anywhere.

Pro:  3G Tethering (using the phone as a wireless braodband modem) to my laptop.  Sure its not as fast as DSL or Cable, but in a pinch where there is no WiFi... or when it costs $10 per session like at ATL... it works great....

Blackberry Curve 8330 Cell Phone

I had been using/sharing a Blackberry with my husband for his home based business.  I really liked it a lot but I need a Blackberry?  When it came time to renew my cell phone plan, we decided I did and went with the Blackberry Curve.

Blackberry Curve:

-comes in pink, black and silver (Mine is black.)

-is about 4 inches by 2 1/2 inches (Larger than what I was used to but still doesn't seem big.)

-the thumb ball lets you move fast

-has a nice size screen

-has a keyboard style set up that I like (It's called QWERTY.)

-has raised keys (They looked really small to...

I avoided the blackberry believing the small internal memory would not suffice my interesti n playing with programs on my phone. I was wrong. My initial upgrade to a smarphone was teh Samsung i760 which was horrendous.  I decided to take a chance on the Blackberry now it never leaves me side.

It is easy to use and definitely addicting.

Metro pcs just came out with a blackberry curve..take my advice and go get it..its just luke the other blackberrys out there but also the only difference is the plan..imagine the metro pcs plan and its for a blackberry..people are going to start switching pretty soon to metro and stop paying so much for other cell phone plans..and metro is already going around different states..this blackberry has everything the other blackberry has but just with a cheaper plan which everyone needs now and days especially with how the economy is going and having no hours for your job..it helps to pay a little less..and...

I am a Sprint customer andI upgraded my cell phone to a Blackberry Curve 8330.I was concerned because I am kind of technically challenged. To my surprise I have learned to operate the phone quite easily, and if I get stuck on something the manual is simple enough for me to understand.I was interested in this phone because of the quality pictures it takes, full keyboard, and its durability.I have a cat that climbs on the nightstand and pushes my phone on to the floor so you can imagine my concern of being damaged or broken.I spoke to a few people who have this phone and they all highly reccommended...

I recently purchased the Blackberry Curve 8330 in pink.  I mainly wanted it to text and stay connected with my email and facebook, but this thing does so much more.  I am able to IM through Blackberry Messenger, which is wonderful to stay connected to friends, family and co-workers without having the little lag time in email. I have 3 email accounts set up through this as well as outlook Calendar that syncs with my office calendar and home calendar. I am always staying connected.  I have also put in all of my contact mailing addresses. When I go to the post office I don't have to scroll through...

I got my Blackberry Curve 8330 last year and i do not know where I would be without it now! I had planned on getting the iPhone, since it was a popular buy, but I settled for the Blackberry Curve 8330 and I could not be happier. The keyboard ( QWERTY) on it is somewhat small, but it gives enough room for typing. When I bought it I had to purchase a data plan with it and it was a smart buy for me. It is very handy when out and about. The features on it are really great too. You can change your theme to your liking. I love everything about this phone but one thing... I had to purchase a seperate...

Blackberry Curve 8330

I will admit that I wasn't into the whole Blackberry scene when the phones started getting real popular.  In fact, my thoughts were that the only people who would be in need of such a hi-tech phone would be super important business men and women who need to streamline their office and home lives.  Over the course of a few months, it seemed like everyone, including stay at home parents,  were sporting a Blackberry and when I would ask them why they felt that they needed one, their answers would slowly turn me into a "crackberry" addict.

My Blackberry of choice became the...

I recently upgraded to the Blackberry Curve 8330. This is my first experience with a smartphone. After considering the iPhone (service provider and total touch bothered me) and the Blackberry Storm (total touch and in-store testing did not like) I went with this phone. It can be a bit overwhelming at first...trying to find simple things such as how to change the various alert sound options (ringtones, email, messaging, etc) was not the easiest thing compared to "regular" phones. Also, additional cost required (Data plan is a must and with most carriers costs more). At first I thought that Blackberry's...

The Blackberry Curve 8330 on Verizon network, works quite well. The full qwerty keyboard is fairly easy to use, though I do miss a key still from time to time. It has a lot of good built in features and the ability to add more programs etc to customize it for your use.

I've had mine for just over a month now.

For my area, small town New Mexico, I've found that while the web works pretty good, it is kind of slow, but it does depend on the site and time of day. I haven't really tried surfing when I've been to a bigger town yet... been to a larger town, will have to check that part out.

Text messaging...

I am reviewing the Blackberry Curve 8330 Cell Phone, I have had my phone since March, I have found that my carrier Verizon has good coverage but that some times when talking to my husband cell to cell we do not hear each other the way I think we should. At times I get every 4th word and even that is stretching it. I have done all the upgrades suggested by Verizon to make sure I am bouncing off all available towers, but still to no avail, but besides the crappy call signal, I have found it does like to lock up on me though when surfing the web and that the battery life in not what I expected. I...

i have had my blackberry pearl for over a year now.  I always thought it was so convienet since the day I purchased it but recently i have realized what blackberrys are really capable off. Its amazing to me that you can download programs like slacker radio and stream music live by searching for artists or specific genres.  Its amazing that it can turn off automatically and thne turn on for whatever time you like.  I feel as though the possiblites are endless and its pretty much a computer.  I no longer have to check my mail online because everything comes directly to my phone.  ITs really...

Wow!  I didn't know that I was living in the cell phone dark ages until my LG Chocolate broke and my husband surprised me with a blackberrry curve 8330.  I am addicted now and take it everywhere.  The blackberry has applications that are available to purchase as well as to download for free from blackberry.com that make life even easier.  I use the calendar daily and no longer have to carry a paper version.  The e-mail synchronizes my home and the blackberry e-mail accounts so some days I don't even have to get my lap top out at home.  Facebook, myspace, etc have full blackberry versions...
