Blackberry - Curve 8330 Cell Phone —
The Blackberry Curve 8330 on Verizon network, works quite well. The full qwerty keyboard is fairly easy to use, though I do miss a key still from time to time. It has a lot of good built in features and the ability to add more programs etc to customize it for your use.I've had mine for just over a month now.
For my area, small town New Mexico, I've found that while the web works pretty good, it is kind of slow, but it does depend on the site and time of day. I haven't really tried surfing when I've been to a bigger town yet... been to a larger town, will have to check that part out.
Text messaging is great and non-HTML emails are very good also. The built in spell checker and the full keyboard make it a breeze to send email and texts from the phone. The call clarity has been very good. Battery life is usually very good, of course it does depend a lot on what you're doing with the phone.
Listening to music, viewing pictures and video, are also very nice, though Verizon doesn't allow it to connect to their music.. not a problem for me, but worth considering if you're interested in that.
It did take a little getting used to for the first time blackberry user. I know where most everything is and have it pretty well configured for my needs.
Works very well with blue-tooth devices or at least the earpiece I use; the Jabra BT500. Connects very easy. Even from another room, I was surprised...
