Working for a marketing/technology company, I fought the urge daily to be like my co-workers who had constant bells, whistles, and rings alerting them to some sort of message. As my travel schedule has picked up, my boss suggested that we go down to the AT&T and I should get a "big boy" phone. As he... review »

This is my first experience with a smart phone. I was primarily interested in its ability to synchronize the address book and calendar with my computer. Having been an iPod user for years I was disappointed to discover that synchronizing is not as simple as with an iPod. I also rarely use the mp3 player...

I love this phone!  It does everything I could ever need to do in one day.  Great quality for amount of money I paid!  Very satisfied!  When I first go the phone I wasn't sure if it would be what I wanted.  It turned out that it was everything I wanted and more.  The camera is very very high quality.  I even had some prints made from the pictures and they look like most of my digital camera prints.  I rarely take my camera with me anymore because I know I have my phone!  I love being able to access the internet anytime from my blackberry.  I use the internet quite a bit and this tool... review »

The Blackberry Curve 8300 does just about everything well. Camera's pretty good, Blackberry software is great, sound quality is just outstanding. Apparently Amazon already has the phone on sale for $50. The only real problem is the tiny keys, the not always great AT&T/Cingular service, and fact that it doesn't sync with iTunes. I don't think they could have solved any of these problems.

I like the blackberry curve.  I have not tinker with all the features.  Those features that I have used I enjoy.  One thing I have not been able to find an answer to:  I marked a reocurring calendar entry as private and I have not found a way to remove the mark because I no longer want it private, but to reocurr.  Plus, I do not get a reminder notification for a private entry, that is why I want to remove the mark.

I need to purchase a media card before I can get the music download.  I was not aware of that when I purchased the phone.

I will also be extremely glad when AT&T get underground...

The Blackberry Curve finally arrived at Verizon, and I bought one the first day it was offered.  After owning literally dozens of phones/PDAs in the past, I have finally found the best.  The interface is simple, the battery life astounding, and best of all, it just works. My last phone was the Motorola Q, and it was horrible.  It kept rebooting all the time, and took 15 minutes to boot and find our corporate Exchange server.  The Curve is rock-solid, and takes 4 seconds to boot and be ready for e-mail.  (I have timed it several times because I was so amazed.)

I purchased the BlackBerry Curve in June of 07, and I don't know how I went so long without a phone like this! It's just the right size for me (compared to the Treo), I have square tip nails so typing is a breeze. Being able to access the internet at anytime is a huge plus. The phone itself came with a decent selection of ringtones and backgrounds, so you're not stuck listening to a ringtone that doesn't fit your style. Even the littlest applications like Memopad or Tasks have proven to be helpful in some situations. I'll be with this phone for a while.

The Blackberry Curve 8300 has many features,
but these are some that makes the phone worth
the price of about $300-400
This phone has a great wi-fi reception.
One can surf the web without having to
pay a contract or waiting for the signal,
rather one can go to a hot-spot and recieve
wi-fi for free.
Another great aspect is that it has office
mobile which is essential to students and
busness people.
Its mouse-like navigater allows one to flow
through the menu with such ease.

Umm so i really dont get the point of having this contraption. I am not savvy at technological advances but for god sake it took me three days to read the first paragraph in the owners manuel. I know that most of the time on a new gadget it is trial by error, that you have to play with it in order to figure it out but man did i have a hard time. I dont think this phone is worht the 300 that i paid for it. The telenav is always broken, and it freezes all the time thanks to it being a computer! I say major thumbs down!!!

The Blackberry Curve allows me to access my email when I'm away from my office. That's key for me, as a consultant. I also use the calendar and the address book extensively. Have had it for about 6 months with no problems. Some people complain aobout the size of the buttons but I've gotten used to them. The only compaint I have is that I can't search the calendar (am I missing something?). I download to Outlook and search from there.

I love my blackberry. It has the full keyboard and I could not live without it. I run a business and it so important to me to get back to my customers ASAP and I can do this with my blackberry. I get my emails faster on it than I do my pc. I do wish it was not so bulky but I assume for the purpose of what it does the size cannot change. It is very easy to use and I have not had any issues with it.

I love this phone! I can do anything I need to do and it's still small enough to be comfortable as a phone. I HATE texting on a regular mobile phone because it takes forever, but with the QWERTY keyboard on the phone - typing is a dream come true!! :) Now I text, email, surf the net, anything I can think of - all on this little device called a cell phone! :o)

This is a great little phone.  It's very easy to use and fits well in your hand.  I looked at other PDA type phones, and this one was the best available.  It is sleek, light weight, and practical.  I use it primarily for work.  The phone makes it a little too easy to check email.  It gets addictive and very distracting.

Incredible phone. I just got it because I got a new job that I have to drive to client's homes late day, so when it's dark I get lost. The GPS is a life saver. I also love music, so the mp3 player and ability to use it for wifi is awesome. I am on the phone a lot so this helps. Oh the camera is very nice as well.

Everyone should have one, its worth the money, it will save you $ and time in the long run.  Has everything you need in internet, phone, email, maps, gps, all in 1 and can check anything at any time at the touch of a button.  I have two of these and they are perfect.
