Most HelpfulI have had this phone for less than a week and I absolutely love it. It totally nails the three things that I need in a phone: 1) text messaging, 2) email and 3) phone. I thought that losing the side scroll wheel might be an issue, but the new trackball design is a much more efficient.
Most HelpfulI purchased my Blackberry Pearl in October. It is a great little phone and has many capabilities that I love (internet browsing, multiple email account setup, etc).
One thing that I have had major problems with on this phone is that the screen keeps going completely white for hours at a time and...
review »In all of it's accessory functions, the BlackBerry performs like a champ. It can handle multiple email accounts, and the keyboard is great for the now obligatory text messaging that comes your way. Saving data, and receiving incoming attachments, terrific. Sending attachments, very good. Videos, great. Searching the web......well, it's OK, sometimes tough to read, but where it really lacks for me is the notification that I have an unheard voice mail. Sometimes the notification turns up the next day after my phone automatically comes alive again after shutting off the night before. ...
review »I love that I can set up to 11 emai accounts. I currently have my work, yahoo and hotmail email accounts set up as regular icons. Since blackberry works with the pust technology, you only have to set up your email once and then you will get notified every time you have a new email, just like the text messaging system. Also is good with web browsing and the keyboard allows me to type very fast. It's a very stable system, it hardly ever crashes or freezes up. In a few words, I love it and it keeps me in track with the calendar/appointments options. It's a great phone.
The phone is great for people on the go. The email capability is wonderful. The mixture seems right. A strong signal is available in areas where I had problems with my old cell phone.
My only beef with the product is the key size. For a guy with short finger nails, I have to spend time typing the messages.
I have a Blackberry 8800 series and I just love it. Takes good pictures and the speaker phone is nice and loud. Battery life is pretty good also, unless you have the bluetooth on, when using the bluetooth the battery wears out fast.
I really do like the Blackberry. However I have the version that does not have a camera phone. My cell phone provider does not offer a camera on their Blackberry products. Other than that I really love the phone. Very upscale and sleek.
