Black and Decker Waffle Maker — 

My wife purchased a Black & Decker waffle maker as a replacement for an old Sunbeam unit given me in the last century by my grandmother. The new appliance looks similar to the old one, but the performance is of a much higher order. (The specs are provided in the previous review.) It's fast, reliable--the heat control setting actually works well!--and the non-stick surface is so effective it almost cleans itself. Naturally it takes a while to cool down, but after twenty minutes or so, the compact item packs away neatly onto a little shelf in a cabinet. Those with hearty appetites and limited budgets could hardly hope to do better.
