I would definitely not have even bought this oven if I had not gotten it so cheap because the box was gone and I had discount coupons on top of that.
When you pull open the door of this oven it pulls out the wire rack and when you close it the rack is pushed back in. Here lies the problem. Because it does not go in and out smoothly, it takes two hands. It has enough resistance that it feel as if it's rusted. You have to put one hand on top of the sometimes "hot" open to pull the door open and then to close it. You absolutely cannot close it with one hand without feeling like you are going to either tear the oven up or burn your hand. I am now going for option one!
There were several of these ovens when we bought this one and noticed this problem. We opened the boxes and checked out 4 others. All of them were just like this. For some reason we were certain that we could fix this when we got home and started using it. At least try some WD-40 on it. I have now tried everything I can think of and I'm getting ready to toss it! I did learn a lesson. If it doesn't work well in the store, don't think you can fix it when you get home. Another lesson that I learned was, sometimes you really do get what you pay for. Even if it is only $8.00 plus tax! LOL
