Great until the cord fails

    easy to use, irons quickly, steams powerfully, doesn't stick or scorch

Black and Decker Iron - D2020 — 

I loved this iron until the cord failed.  It may be my fault from wrapping the cord around the base, but isn't that what you are supposed to do?  Now, less than a year  after buying the iron, I need a new one!

We coil our cord to the side and have had the same failure on two irons now. Other than that it is a good iron, but with it lasting about a year, may not be the best value...or maybe we should have completed the warranty card
