Black & Decker Toast-R-Oven Review

We had our last Black and Decker toaster oven for about 14 years and so I was very happy to buy another product from them. However after just 6 months or so I have been having a strange smell out of this product. I am concerned that it might be an electrical problem and so I watch the toaster to make sure it doesn't catch on fire. This morning I said I was going to get rid of the toaster but needed it to get through the breakfast time first. Well I didn't get the same smell as I had last week and so I am going to continue to use the toaster and watch for problems. I do like the design of the crumb tray and the ease to clean the toaster. I have had to watch when my husband heats things in the oven and then I go to toast something that the switch is turned back to toast and not just heat. Boy what time I have wasted when the switch is turned to the wrong setting. It is a great investment and I love that we can make small amounts in the toaster oven and not have to heat the big oven. I would not know what to do without an toaster oven in the house
