Black & Decker Toast-R-Oven Model TRO620 Review

The Black and Decker Toast-R-Oven is a big dissapointment!  I bought it not only to brown toast and make hot sandwiches but to cook food, such as chicken fingers and bagel bites, in small batches.  The toast function works OK but unfortunately that is the only thing that works properly!  I tried to make 5 oatmeal cookies and they burned within 6 minutes.  I turned the temperature down, tried again, and they burned in 4 minutes!  The next day, I tried to make 3 cinnamon rolls.  Again, the same thing happened. They were burned on the outside within 5 minutes but the insides were raw.  The instruction booklet states that these types of foods should be cooked according to package directions but this is obviously not the case.  Thankfully I bought it on clearance or I would really be upset.  I guess I will just be using it now on for toast.  Waste of money for sure especially since I already have a regular toaster!
