This is one of those tools that is inexpensive and all around good for home owners that don't want to keep a toolbox laying around. The tool is like having 16 different sockets all in one tool. It doesn't by any means replace your socket set, it just puts the most used SAE/Metric sockets in an easy to use format. Pros: The handle is very comfortable. The price is very cheap in my opinion. Cons: This tool cannot handle bolts that are more than 2 inches deep. Also, this tools is awkward in the tool box. I have a large 5 drawer toolbox and this thing has to be put in a deep drawer. This doesn't work in hard to reach places. Overall, this is a good tool to have around the house when you need to remove or take off a bolt without having to pull out the entire toolbox or socket set.

I received the Black & Decker ReadyWrench as a gift from a family member that knows my love of tools. The ReadyWrench is an "all-in-one" style tool for loosening or tightening bolts. Its greatest asset is that changing the socket size is only a matter of turning the head of the unit to find the size that fits. For casual Do-It-Yourself'ers, this is a much simpler approach than running back to the workbench to size a socket correctly. As other reviewers have noted, the ReadyWrench is not really intended to replace a complete set of socket wrenches because of the limited number of sizes available, but also due to long term wear and tear on the tool. The tool is also a bit on the large side, and you may have difficulty accessing bolts that are not out in the open. It is likely not a great choice, for instance, for automotive work where most bolts are in hard to reach places. Overall, the Black & Decker ReadyWrench is a solid addition to your home workbench. For a weekend project, start with the ReadyWrench and move on to a more complete wrench set as necessary.

i have a  **Black & Decker RRW100 Ratcheting ReadyWrench. I like it a lot.  it small so it fits in my hand comfortally. The **Black & Decker RRW100 Ratcheting ReadyWrench**  is great if you do not have a set of wrenches and sockets already. are if you dont use it that much like me. It does the job. it is cheap, and found at any retail store or hardware store. and easy to store. It does not take up much room anywhere. it would not be recommended for people who work construction or is a mechanic. It would put to much stress on it but for What I use it for, It works out great. In conclusion, the **Black & Decker RRW100 Ratcheting ReadyWrench** is a nice alterative to have instead of a large box of  wrenches or socket set. It is small, and fits in your hand nicely. it is light weight, so it dont feel like your are doing arm curls. It is easy to store due to it small size. I highly recommend it to people who would use it on occasions, not everyday uses.**

As recent first time homebuyers this wrench has come in handy on multiple occasions.  We received this as a gift and I am so glad we did. We were able to avoid having to buy an entire wrench set that would take up too much space in our small starter toolbox.  This wrench is so durable and feels very sturdy.  It is extremely easy to use (especially for someone who does not use tools on a day to day-or even week to week-basis).  It has a nice cushiony grip to it that makes it feel nice and comfortable in your hand.  We have only had this for a few months, but thus far it has been extremely durable and really doesn't show any signs of wear or damaging.  It has 8 different size settings (the most popular used) and to date we haven't needed to find a wrench in any other size because it has covered our every size need. I would definitely recommend this tool to anyone who may need to use tools as some point. For the price, you're getting an entire wrench set, and because it is so durable, it will last a long time.

I bought this as a gift for my husband, but lately I've been using it as well. It is pretty heavy, maybe made of cast Iron, and there is a polished area with the different sizes engraved in it. The body of the wrench is angled so that both ends are offset, resulting in an "almost" ergonomic fit; this also adds to its versatility and ease of use. The wrnech ends rotate easily, and the ratcheting piece switches easily from counter to clockwise, depending on your need.  Considering that you're getting the use of 16 wrenches in one item, I'd call this pretty compact. It's very handy to have when assembling or disassembling things. Given the design of the tool in general, the working ends act as a fulcrum so you get more force put into your motions! In short, it seems to be of heavy-duty construction, with multiple metric and SAE sizes, and ratcheting action. Overall a good tool so far. It may be harder to find in stores (we found this one online because our local stores no longer carried it).

I purchased my Wrench about 6 months ago.  It has helped me loosen bolts I never would have imaged i could get loose.  It is easy to grip and handle, easy to use, not big and bulky.  I can find a size for every bolt that I have tried without hunting for the right wrench.  Wonderful product.

I recently purchased this product as a gift idea for my children to put in vehicle should they incur any car problems and to use at college - no one ever seems to have tools at college!  We were happy with the compact design and quality.  The price was was well within the range that we wanted to spend.  The kids report that the tool has already been used several times and often is borrowed by neighbors.  We have not really tested the limits of this product and all of the uses this far were relatively minor projects.  The projects ranged from assembly of a few lofts to changing a garbage disposal.  They children mentioned that the loft assembly went faster than in the past and the wrench was a big part of that.  For those projects it more than handled the work.  The looks of this product are very nice.  The easy to see sizes was sure a nice feature and sped up the process of finding the right size.

I just tried the Black & Decker Ratcheting ReadyWrench out today. It's an interesting product. The sockets swivel so that you can choose an appropriate socket size. On one side of the socket, red lettering tells you the approximate SAE size.Ratchet sets are bulky, and this crams a bunch of ratchets into one wrench. This tool is great for putting it into your generic job toolbox; the one you take around for "just in case" situations. I was surprised by the weight of this thing when it arrived. It's very solid and weighs 1 to 1.5 lbs.
