Black & Decker Grasshog NST2018 Hedge Trimmer Review

My husband has had the complete battery operated tools from Black & Decker.  He is very happy with their easy to take care of approach to people who are great customers.  When the 26 charging batteries were melted by an electrical fire in our basement.  Lowes saw me on TV about my $10,000 damage claim to the power company for poor employees that caused this.  He called & we asked him how much to replace the batteries.  He sees on our file at Lowes, that I purchaed every tool for him & newer ones coming out that he doesn't need so he returns.  Lowes made a call to B&D about the 26 batteries with 13 chargers and they agreed to replace at no charge.  THAT IS SERVICE!

So we walked back into landscaping area & I saw the new outdoor tools being shown in a HUGE display.  This 18 volt edger/trimmer, a blower, a hedge trimmer with a 2 foot circular cutter with plastic shield.  SOLD!  Then the Manager at Lowes named PAtrick,,, tells us that we get BOGO airline tickets from B&D for purchasing the tools.  So we added the Cultivator to it for 4 BOGO trips.  That is a great rebate!!!!

So out I go, without that ugly orange electrical cord, that I have cut in half at least once a year.  No more now.  I pop a battery into the handle and away we go with a perfect 1 inch edge to my lawn.  The pullout metal cement holder keeps the wacker at a pefect distance.  So I do front & back lawns with tree lawn done in 15 minutes.  Then I mow & out comes the blower & I am done.

I even have neighbors coming to try it out.  But they can't take it since 15 minutes is the life of a charge at high speed.  So they can go buy their own.  Be sure to read my review on the cultivator, blower & hedge trimmer.
