I love my Black and Decker, but I wish it ran longer on a single charge. I had to buy an extra battery for mine, but I do have a very large yard. Considering I have just over a 1/3 of an acre fenced in I have a lot of weed eating to be done. The string works very well and I can go 2 months without changing the string. To me thats a plus.

I am 6'2 and don't have to bend hardly at all to use it, my wife is 5'2 and it fits her just as well. As usual for Black and Decker it is made very tough, and believe me we abuse it. Not that we do it on purpose but things happen. Its been dropped on concrete a few times and more than once I missed the hanger in the shed and it still works like brand new.

I would highly recommend this to anyone that has your average suburban yard, cause it will do a good job for you and you probably will get by on just one battery. However if you have a yard such as mine (1.1 acres) you're going to need an extra battery. After I bought mine they started a special where they included an extra battery for a few months.

In closing I am glad I bought mine, because even with having to get an extra battery, it works like a charm. I also bought a cordless trimmer from Black and decker, it uses the same battery. But thats another review. As far as I am concerned you can't go wrong with a Black and Decker product. They are built to last, built tough and priced affordable.
