Black & Decker Grass Hog Cordless Weed Eater Review

I purchased the Black and Decker cordless grass hog just 6 weeks ago.  The spool ran fine, until it approached the end when it went flying loose.  Yes, I have the newer orange capped model.

I replaced the line today, but the Automatic Feed System won't stop feeding!  I went through the whole replacement - trying to get it to work properly and then, when I thought it was ok, the rest ran out in about 5 minutes.  Meanwhile, the owner's manual is grossly inadequate and on line assistance doesn't seem to really exist on the Black and Decker site.

I doubt I will buy another black and decker cordless product.  In addition to the spool issues, the guard has already cracked the screw housing on the body where it attaches and I'm out $$$
