Black & Decker G48TD Grill and Waffle Maker Review

The Black and Decker G48TD Grill and Waffle Maker is the perfect waffle maker for the family that enjoys the perfect waffle!  What I liked best about this particular appliance is the fact that is has removable plates - this means that you can use it as a grill to make pancakes or put the plates back and make the perfect waffle.  The amount of money you pay extra for this feature is one hundred percent worth it!  It is three in one, folds open flat, has a non-stick surface, cool touch handles, has an indicator light to let you know when it is finished pre heating and a nine inch cooking area.  One side note - although it says the surface of the plates are non-stick, I have discovered that some light oiling is needed in order to remove your food easily, especially waffles.  A few things to remember are that the plates are not dishwasher safe, and only the cool touch handles stay cool to the touch during use - not the rest, so be careful when using to avoid a bad burn.
