Black & Decker Black & Decker 16-Cup Rice Cooker Model RC436 Review

We love to eat rice most often, so bought this Black & Decker16 cup Multi-use Rice cooker.It is excellent for making perfect rice.It can handle maximum of 7 rice measures of dry rice yielding approximately 16 cups of cooked rice.

In the box:

Removable non-stick cooking bowl,
Tempered glass lid with steam vent,
Measuring cup(rice measure),
Serving scoop, steming basket,
Rice cooker with cool touch handles and condensation catcher.

Advantages:

Ease of use: This Black & Decker rice cooker is very easy to use.Especially cook and warm indicator lights makes it easy to use.
Cooker and steamer: The cooker is not only good for making perfect rice,but also can be used to steam the vegetables using the steaming basket.
Lid Hanger: The lid hanger may be placed into the hole in the handle with the lip of the lid resting on the condensation catcher to keep water off the counter top.This is one of the cool feature.
Cleaning: Cleaning is Pretty easy,as the cooking bowl and lid are removable from the cooker.Truly no mess process.Just use soap and water.
Scoop hanger: serving scoop can be hanged int he cool touch handles.

Disadvantages:

Non-stick:I feel that the non-stick surface of the cooking bowl is good but not excellent.Even after taking a good care,bowl has got some scratches on the non-stick surface in 6 months duration.

Is it worth to buy?
I say its worth (if its less than $20.00)to buy if you like to eat rice most often,even if it has disadvantage as I mentioned above.
