This Black & Decker 7-Quart Slow Cooker is simply the best. Being a busy person, a working mom and with two children to take care, I need not waste my time, I need to multi-task. This slow cooker is very helpful. I do not need to stay at the kitchen waiting the food to get cooked. It automatically switched to keep warm when the food is already evenly cooked so I won't be worried that the food I am preparing will be burnt. So while cooking I can do another task. I can help my children prepare their things for school. Even if you can not unplug it right away after cooking, it still does not burn the food. Another good thing is that, its body won't get hot even if it takes time for you too unplug it. With this Black & Decker 7-Quart Slow Cooker , I can prepare much amount of food while multi-tasking. Its stainless steel body looks very beautiful at the kitchen. I highly recommend this Black and Decker Slow Cooker. Whether you will be buying 7-quart or smaller, Black and Decker is the best brand when it comes to slow cookers. I have another slow cooker of different brand but this Black and Decker is truly amazing.

The Black & Decker 7- Quart Slow Cooker is the second crockpot that I have owned. I use it at least once a week. I love coming home from work and smelling the delicious aromas before I even walk through the front door. On Sundays I make a huge batch of steel cut oats...enough to last me a week of breakfasts and it cooks it perfectly. The only thing I don't like is that the oatmeal will stick to the sides no matter how much I spray. I'm not sure if it is the fault of my slow cooker, my oats or me. I like that I can lift out the crock to clean it thoroughly and not worry that I'm getting water on some electrical parts. The lid is my least favorite part because it feels so flimsy in comparison to the rest of the unit. When I lift the lid I carefully place it down in case it cracks. I'm also afraid of holding the lid by the little black handle. I thought I read somewhere that the handle has a tendency to break off.

This slow cooker is amazing.  I love being able to put dinner together the night before or in the morning and come home to a hot meal!  The timer and the temperature settings are easy to use.  The removable bowl makes clean up easy and this cooker doesn't get hot on the outside the way my old one did.  I love that fact that after the cooking time that I program in, it will switch to a 'keep warm' setting.  If I am running late, I don't have to worry about coming home to a burnt meal!!  It was a great buy for the price and I would highly recommend it to anyone.  I have a large family and this extra large cooker allows me to double and sometimes triple most recipes with room to spare. I have saved my family quite a bit of money by trying to use my slow cooker at least twice a week.  It cuts down on the last minute 'eating out' that we used to do because I would be too tired to cook after a long day at work!

I bought this beast of a slow cooker at Bed Bath and Beyond a while back and it was put to almost daily use in my household. I love all of the features, timers, adjusters to slow cook the way you want to slow cook and not just having 2 settings of low and high. I actually left this back home when I moved and I sorely miss it. I will be grabbing it when I go back home to visit for sure! It has a huge capacity so it's great for entertaining. We cooked everything from corned beef and cabbage, to chili, to peach cobbler in it and everything was cooked perfect each time with very little hassle on my end. What is the phrase? Set it and forget it ? Oh wait, that's the rotisserie chicken guy but this is the same concept! Oh how I miss my slow cooker. I have a very generic one to make due until I can pick this one back up but it's just not the same. I rarely use my generic one because it feels wrong to me.
