Black & Decker 27FM Review

We bought this Black & Decker blender on sale at Target and it works really well.  My husband makes salsa and I can it about every 4-6 months or so.  He blends several containers of it in one night, and it never bogs down, like our old blender was doing.  Granted it needed replacing anyway.  We looked online, at Walmart and JC Penney - there were different models to choose from, and for the $29 price, it's a bargain we think.  It has an ice crusher, a pulse button along with five other settings. 

This is also our first red appliance and goes well with our kitchen.  I love the color!  It has a glass jar (container) and the base is metal.  It's very sturdy, and fits right under the countertop.  We'll probably use it to make milkshakes too.  It holds 48 ounces/6 cups of ingredients.  The top is rubber with a plastic "lift" in the middle.   The container is easy to clean and has stainless steel blades. For a non-commercial blender, I would rate this an "A".
