Brisingamen is a General Catalog perfume oil blend from the Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab. You can find it on their website under the Love Potions category. This perfume is based on the legend of Norse goddess Freyja and her amber necklace. The scent is absolutely beautiful -- soft, sweet, and dry. The amber scent does not go powdery because it's grounded by sweet apple blossom and myrtle, and carnation adds a touch of spice. A standard 5ml bottle of this perfume costs $15.00 plus shipping, which is a fantastic deal for the amount of highly concentrated fragrance you get out of it. My own bottle has lasted for well over a year with regular use, and to the casual observer, the bottle still appears full. For most people, all you need is a tiny dab to smell beautiful all day long. Even if you need to reapply during the day, the bottle is small enough and sturdy enough to easily fit in your purse.
