My experiences with Black & Decker have been far more positive...lucky me? I had a 12V Firestorm cordless drill outperform 3 Craftsman 18V drills...the only thing I ever needed for it was a second battery pack so that I could make quick-changes when I'd run out of juice. — The Craftsman drills, on the other hand, all developed VERY odd problems in the motor and died within two years each during the SAME PERIOD of TIME I owned the Firestorm. I still after all these years cant believe Sears still stands behind this product, Ever since I can remember everyone I know that owned any black and decker product felt that it did not last, and was always breaking. Personally the only Black and decker tool that lasted for me was a belt sander, I got about 18 months out of it, and have not owned any black and decker for 15 years, anyone who buys me one for a gift it gets returned for hand…
