We received this Black and Decker toaster as a wedding gift over seven years ago. As far as toasters go, it works fine, but has seen better days. It will still toast bread, but it has to be on the highest setting for it to toast the bread even a little bit. There are different buttons for bread, bagels and whatnot, but I haven't ever been able to tell a difference in the toasting performance between the different buttons. The springs that pop the bread up when it's done have never worked very well. It doesn't pop the bread up hardly at all so it's a bit tricky to get the toast out without burning your fingers! The lever feels flimsy and doesn't stay down very well either without having to jam it down hard. I like that it has wide slots that's meant to fit bagels but work great for the kind of bread we eat that is wider than most loaves of bread. If you're looking for a great toaster to last a long time and still work like a champ go for a different brand!

This toaster is great to me, it toasted my bread up perfectly. I really like the setting that I can use, it has three settings and all of them are very useful to me. There is a frozen setting for frozen waffles and it also makes my waffles faster, and it has an off button which is used for turning off the toaster. This toaster comes with a lot of settings which makes it great to use to me. I enjoy using this toaster. Toasting Evenness It makes my bread perfect, from bread, to waffles, and bagels it makes it all perfect. The settings makes it great to use. I made waffles out of my freezer and it got done in no time. The frozen setting makes the toaster toast frozen bread and waffles faster. This toaster makes toasting easier and great at the same time. Ease of Cleaning It is very easy to clean, I clean it with a wet napkin. Design The exterior is easy to cleanand it has buttons on the front, each with different settings. It is a very nice toaster to me.

our family eats a lot of toast on a daily basis, we even toast our bread for sandwiches so having a substantial toaster in the house that does a good job is crucial. we looked around for a toaster that was cost efficient and had good reviews, and this is the toaster that we came up with. and we have not been let down. there is even a bagel setting, a defrost setting, and a pastry setting. also there are a lot of different settings depending on how 'well done' you want your toast. it is nice because it cleans up easy and has a crumb catcher so all the crumbs do not go all over the counter/floor. another great feature is that it does not let you push toast down if it is not plugged in. i do not know how many times i thought i was toasting only to realize that the toaster was not plugged in :( overall we love this toaster and would recommend it to any family who loves to toast things throughout the day.

I loved this Black and decker toast - it - all plus t3550 2 - slice toaster when we got it, and it worked great for the first three and half to four years then it just went kaput! I was very disappointed that it did not last longer. My other black and decker items have not given out in four years and for that I am greatful. The toaster just started burning everything no matter what setting I put it on. I did like the wide slots and the bagel setting, you could also pop up your toast with the push of a button which was very nice when you consider that the last few months that was all I could do to keep it from burning. The black color was easy to clean and the removable tray on the bottom was easy to remove and clean as well. The cord was plenty long and easy to wrap around the bottom of the toaster so you didn't have cords sitting around everywhere if you didn't use the length of the cord.

I GOT THIS TOASTER AS A WEDDING GIFT BRAND NEW AND WILL NOT BE BUYING THIS BRAND AGAIN! IT WORKED GREAT FOR THE FIRST TWO YEARS BUT NOT THIS BLACK AND DECKER TOASTER BURNS ALMOST EVERYTHING. I DO LIKE THE CANCEL BUTTON BECAUSE I CAN CANCEL IT AND CATCH IT BEFORE IT BURNS. HOWEVER IF I DO NOT JUST STAND THERE THEN I MISS IT AND IT BURNS EVERY PIECE OF TOAST. THIS IS WITH THE TOASTER SET ON THE LOWEST TOASTING SETTING. IT HAS A HANDY BAGEL TOASTING BUTTON AND LIKE I SAID I LIKE THE CANCEL BUTTON AS APPOSED TO POPPING THE LEVER UP MYSELF. MAKES THINGS A TOUCH EASIER EVEN WHEN THE TOASTER WORKED. I LIKE THE SIZE, IT FITS IN SMALL PLACES. THE BLACK IS EASY ENOUGH TO CLEAN. THE CLEANING TRAY COMES OUT EASY. I CAN'T FIND A WAY TO CLEAN THE CRUMBS THAT ARE STUCK TO THE BOTTOM OF THE TOASTER BUT WILL NOT FALL INTO THE TRAY. STILL WORKING ON THAT ONE. I LOVED THAT THE HANDLE WILL NOT PUSH DOWN IF THE TOASTER ISN NOT PLUGGED IN. THAT IS A GREAT FEATURE.

I love that this toater has option like frozen or cancel. i don't have to worry about burning my bagel because the settings are right on. I love that it looks stylish and it compliments my kitchen. It easy to use and clean. I would definitely reccomend it to others.
