Black & Decker SpaceMaker Coffee Maker - ODC440B 12-Cup Review

We've had a Black & Decker spacemaker for years. It's nice because it free's up space on the counter. Ours was so old that they didn't make parts for it anymore. So my husband would stop at Goodwill to see if they had one part just to keep ours going. Then the clock went out on it. So he bought one of those timer things that goes into the outlet to turn on and off. Which that clicking noise got to me. Late last year I finally found they started to make them again. This time though, you could pour yourself a couple of coffee before it's done brewing. Such a nice feature. Free's up space, so the counter top still has room. And it's matches my stove. I believe right now it only comes in Black. Nice clean look to it. I am so happy. Now I see they even have a new style one that looks even neater then the one I gave him for Christmas. Isn't that how it goes sometimes? But I only glanced at it, may have to check it out. But if this Black & Decker last's as long as our first one, which was close to 20 years, I'll be happy. It's nice having coffee ready when you wake up, not having to wait around.

I have to change my view on this Black & Decker Spacemaker Coffee Maker. Here I found out from my husband, because he gets up before me. That it does leak water on our counter top. So I called Black & Decker about this problem with the Spacemaker, and all they could say was they were not allowed to diclose that kind of information. Black & Decker told me to cut the plug off and sent it back to them, the Spacemaker Coffee maker was on back order. I asked them what do I do in the mean time? We'll send you a counter top model. The whole point of buying the Black & Decker Spacemaker was to free up the counter top.
