Black & Decker SpaceMaker Coffee Maker - ODC440B 12-Cup — 

I had an old model that lasted about 12 yrs. I bought this new model less than a year ago. First thing you need to do is remove the pause feature from the basket it you'll find your morning pot of coffee all over the counter. Then after 6 mos. the hot plate started to rust, a little at first. Now I have dime size chunks of rust falling on the counter. This coffemaker is junk! I will never buy another B&D small appliance again. I have 2 others in my kitchen, when they go bad I'll be looking for another brand.

Got this maker for a gift because our other one finally went and we use to like black and decker this particular ones is terrible.. It leaks and now it is also rusting on the plate. The time never stays the same and like others need to put a towel below to catch excess water or what ever it is leaking. A terrible coffeemaker would never recommend this one to anyone. Come on Black And Decker what happen to quality, do we need to keep getting junk from your company and do you need to go down like other companies...who also didn't care about quality only quantity. Get with the program bring quality back to the states and stop feeding top executives with large pay checks so they can move on to the next company to take that down as well.
