I am delighted that I purchased the Black & Decker Wet/Dry Vacuum, it is used in many ways at my home and in the garage. Not long ago, my washer over-flowed, we all know what a mess that can be! The vacuum sucked up the water like it was nothing and left my carpet almost as dry as before the flood. My only drawbacks are the power cord, it is much too short and the noise. I'll take all the good with only those two bad qualities. If I had to choose again, I would purchase the same vac!

I love my Black & Decker shop vac! The title says it all! I use it for everything and nearly every day! Ease of Maintenance I can actually dump a vacuum for once! (I'm not a total moron, maybe the ones I've owned were tricky..). I digress. Not only does it seem to have infinite space in there, but it's super easy to dump when needed, which doesn't seem to be very often and let me tell you, my house is large, in the middle of the woods, gets very dirty quickly, and I clean a ton. Suction Performance It hardly ever gets clogged or tangled, and I really put it through the ringer! We have a wood-burning stove, and if you know anything about owning one, they are a constant mess. I am a little ashamed to say it has become somewhat of a piece of decor once or twice if I don't feel like walking it back to the basement, because I know that I will be using it again soon! Versatility I pretty much stick to a simple favorite on the extensions, but it does serve many purposes, such as hard wood floors, cloth surfaces such as the couch, fur, cobwebs, you name it! Design How pretty can a shop-vac really be? My only complaint is, as I mentioned, mine sits in our main room a lot and is a bit of an eyesore, but that's my fault. Although, one could consider it the company's fault though, too, for making it so awesome that I may as well use it as an end table because of my lack of replacing it to its home.

If you have areas of your house that are hard to get clean and keep clean then a Shop Vac might be a wise investment. I have one in the basement that gets used in almost every room in the house. It's excellent for clearing cobwebs from corners, getting in to tight spaces, picking up spilled dirt and a lot of other things. Since it can be used on wet or dry messes it is something that sees a lot of use. Regular vacuum cleaners can't get around the legs of furniture or in tight areas but this can thanks to the small nozzle end. It has a lot of power to it too so if you need something to pick up small pieces of gravel this will work like a champ. Most of the time this is used in the bedrooms around the legs of furniture so I don't have to move things to clean the carpet. It's also great for using near the edges of larger pieces of furniture that the side of a vacuum can't reach. The Shop Vac is a little cumbersome to carry up and down steps and you do have to make sure that you have the lid of it securely affixed or you will end up with it coming apart and dumping the dirt everywhere. The only real con to this is that it is loud; if you are working in a small room the sound of it echoes. The on / off switch is easy to reach and the cord can be wrapped around the top of the vacuum. I wish that there was a way to secure the hose to the body or side of the vacuum so it was easier to carry. You do have to clean the filter on a regular basis; the one that I have has a pull out filter that you can wash by hand, allow to dry and replace but there are disposable ones that you can buy if you want. The attachments that come with it make it helpful to use on carpeting, for corners and to reach the spider webs in the corners as well as to get behind furniture without having to move it. There are times that the hose isn't long enough to be able to reach certain areas and even with one of the extender pieces on it I still can't reach. Maneuverability It can tip over if you pull on the cord. Suction Performance Will pick up just about anything. Design Needs a heavier base to prevent it from tipping over and heavy duty latches for the top.

The Black and Decker shop wet dry vac is the absolute best purchase I have made in awhile! My husband is always in the garage working on projects and this shop vac is the best. It cleans anything from saw dust, wood shavings, dust, dirt, even small sheet metal pieces. It is very durable and easy to maneuver.The wheels allow you to go anywhere with ease. It has a very powerful suction. We use it alot to clean our cars, it does an awesome job on the carpets. It looks like we have actually cleaned our auto carpets instead of just vaccuming them. It is also very easy to clean the cannister out, just dump it and give it a little tap. We do usually rinse the filter after a few uses. I have a big problem with dust and allergies and use it inside to vacuum and clean the interior caroets, it does such a better job than our old indoor vacuum. It is so reasonably priced, I am thinking about getting one just to keep inside and leave the other in the garage.

This is a must have for most homeowners. In these days of DIY house maintainence and remodeling this vacuum really comes in handy. There are just some spills that you would not want to use your regular household vacuum for. And this is when this Black and Decker wet and dry vacuum comes in handy. We once moved in to a rental that had a backup water system from the previous renters. We used the vacuum to save our belongings from getting soaked. Our old one quit recently, but we liked it so much we decided to replace it with the same brand name and we have since used it alot for various shop and garage cleanups. A very useful tool that I recommend to homeowners.

The Black and Decker wet/dry vac is great.  We keep ours in the garage, but let me tell you it is used all over our home.  It is great for cleaning up dirty dusty craft projects in our basement.  The canister holds alot and is easy to empty.  My husband and kids use it to clean out cars and trucks.  When our dishwasher over filled awhile back and spewed water out on the floor it was the shop vac to the rescue.  It make quick work of sucking up all the water.  It only had to be emptied after we were done.  The size of the canister is perfect for large jobs cause it saves time not having to empty so often.  The filter is also easy to clean just take it out tamp it off and put it back in and away you go again.  I am so glad it has wheels as well.  It makes jobs easy when you don't have to constantly pick it up and move it.  You can just pull it along behind you.  The Black and Decker wet/dry vacuum is a great addition to any household.

hi the black and decker shop vack is great its awesome ive nver seen a little vacume clean so well. and it iant that loud and the house on it is longer than other vacumes i have used. i used it to clean out my boyfriends truck and his truck hade sand and everything in the bottom of it and it cleaned it like it was one of the vaucmes you have to pay to use at a car wash it worked  so good i could not believe it and neitehr could  my boy friend the truck looked like it did when we we bought it the inside did. adn i also used it to clean my car i have and it worked so good. i use it to clean my living room and the bedrooms and i also use it on my kitchen floor and it cleans them all no problem i would refer this vaucme to any one who asks what kind of vacume they should get my friends family any one it does wonders for me and it cuts down on my cleaning time no problem at all my daughter likes to help and it is easy for her to push she thinks she does so good

*****This is a great little machine!  It picks up glass, saw dust, water, and other fluids that you usually find in a garage. Not to mention a ton of other things as well.  My husband loves this Shop Vac and says it has saved him from doing ALOT of sweeping and scrubbing.  The Black and Decker Shop Vac picks just about anything up.  Even Auto Glass!  We have had this item for about 3 years and not once did we have any problems with it!  Its also a great machine to have when you spill things in the house.  My dog thought ripping a feather pillow up while we were gone was FUN!  The Black and Decker Shop Vac sucked all those feathers up in a few minutes!  Its easy to empty and keep clean too.  My sister-in-law is always borrowing it because she bought an off brand name and hers clogs, and stinks and just doesn't work nearly as great as mine!  If and when this machine ever dies, I KNOW for a fact me and the hubby will certainly go purchase a new one!  I would certainly (and have already) recommend and push people to buy the Black and Decker shop vac!*****
