Black & Decker PowerPro Hand Mixer MX300 was the first ever hand mixer I purchased. I usually end up buying Black & Decker products when it comes to kitchen electrics because they are mostly affordable as compared to other brands and lasts for pretty decent time, at least for about two to three years. It works well when it comes to mixing some liquids, eggs whip really well but it is a blunder when it comes to mixing solids into liquids. It was a splash bath, just because it's lowest possible speed is not low enough. It moves so fast that it makes it difficult to whip the cream and it is always accompanies with a loud noise. I did not use this mixer for a long time and ended up giving it to someone. I should have put in extra twenty bucks and purchased a better brand mixer that would have got the job done, but why to cry over spilled milk. I'd be extra cautious and read the reviews thoroughly before making any purchase in the future.

I bought the Black & Decker PowerPro Hand Mixer on Black Friday when my other mixer burned out. I was hoping that because it was a bit more expensive that it would last longer, but it did not even last until the next Black Friday sale. I was extremely disappointed because I barely used it. Mixing Performance This does not mix heavy-duty things very well, like cookie dough. It does well with thin mixes. Ease of Cleaning It was easy to clean this mixer. You just pop out the mixing pieces (the metal parts) and use a washcloth to wipe down the plastic parts if needed (sometimes what you are mixing will splash up onto the plastic part). Ease of Use This mixer is really easy to use. The settings are simple to figure out, and speeds adjust quickly. Design Sometimes the metal parts do not come out when you try to eject them from the plastic part. Durability This mixer did not even last a year, and I hardly ever use it! Seriously, maybe once a month if that, and it still just burned out and started smelling really bad.

I have never bought a hand mixer before, I always thought a spoon was just fine, but I got it on sale so I figured I would see why people don't mix with spoons. I really like using it, I've only used it a couple times and I've been pleasantly surprised with it. With this being my first hand mixer, I don't know how this product would compare to other brands, but a casual user I would suggest purchasing the black and decker hand mixer. Mixing Performance So far I have only taken it to number 2 on the speed, and It mixes very well. Ease of Cleaning It was fairly easy to clean, you just pop off the attachment you were using. I am not sure if you can put the attachments in a dish washer, I don't see why you wouldn't be able to, but I just quickly hand wash them. Ease of Use As soon as you pop in the attachment, it has 6 speeds to choose from and a turbo button. Design I do like how it comes with a case, so you can put all the mixer attachments in a plastic case then snap the hand mixer into it with the cord in the case as well.

I rate this wonderful mixer 5 out of 5!! This is such a great mixer, and so easy to use. I have always been brand loyal to Black and Decker, and I needed a good mixer. So I got this Power-Pro mixer. It was at a low price, and easy to use. My friends and family members had also recommended this one. I have made multiple cakes, and cupcakes. This mixer does not "jerk" at my hand like my last one did. I would definitely recommend this mixer to anybody!! Mixing Performance The mixing performance is completely wonderful!! It does not jerk at my hand like the last one did. It also does not create as many spills. It feels steadier in my hand, and it also does not make my hand as sore using it. Ease of Cleaning The ease of cleaning is good. Just put the wisc under some hot water with soap and it is cleaned! Ease of Use I was so thrilled when I used this mixer the first time! The ease of use is great! It does not make my hands sore, and also is much, much easier to use than my last mixer. Design The design is very good. I do not think another mixer would have a better design. Durability I think that we will definitely have this in our house for years.

This is a rather inexpensive hand mixer, and if I had to do it again I would probably spend a little more and get a better model. The variable speed isn't variable enough and it is extremely loud. Mixing Performance This hand mixer has several settings, but I cannot tell a difference between the lowest and highest speeds. So, when I have to mix something at a slow versus a fast speed, it doesn't seem to matter which setting I use; it's all the same. Ease of Cleaning Eject the beaters for cleaning; the body of the mixer wipes clean, especially if you catch splatters right away. Ease of Use The beaters are easily inserted into the mixer (there is a diagram indicating which beater goes into which hole), and easily ejected when finished. Design This is the loudest hand mixer I have ever used. The sound volume is actually uncomfortable! Durability I have had this hand mixer for several years and have never had a problem with it not working when I need it to (and I'm not even very careful with it).

I was very disappointed with the Black & Decker PowerPro Hand Mixer MX300 because the slow speed isn't slow at all--the lowest speed is so fast it'll have no problem with mixing liquids together, but it fails miserably with blending dry and wet ingredients together the speed of the machine make everything fly out of the bowl. This is absolutely ridiculous and makes it obvious that the company didn't do a very good job researching and testing their own product. Even with this fatal flaw, I still used the mixer a couple times but more problems appeared. I noticed rust at where the beater connects to the two detachable whisks/beaters and at the top of the whisks, where the wire has split. I don't even use this machine very much, nor do I abuse it when I do use it occasionally. I also take care in cleaning the mixer, yet the fact that it cracked means that this mixer was not worth the price I paid for it.

It does what it needs to do but is not strong at all so it takes longer to blend things. It was good for cake mix i guess if you dont mind doing a little extra. The design is nice and cute but good is that, lol. It is easy to clean.

Love this mixer. Had it for a long time and it has always worked out great for me! It has all I need but is very simple design and functionality. This also stores very easily it is small and compact so you can put it just about anywhere. I also love the three different sets of beaters it came with. It makes it so you can use it for everything. My husband also loves this beater. It is just a very funtional item in our kitchen. If anything I wish they offered it in a silver chrome, but I realize that may take up the cost quite a bit. This has every speed you could need and also really works so you dont splatter all over when trying to stop the beaters.
