After 17 years of almost daily use my dustbuster quit holding a charge. I had such a great experience with my old Black n'Decker I knew that I wanted the same brand in the latest model. Found it at the first store, bought it, used it every day for a week and then it stopped working. Completely dead, won't charge (even though the little red light comes on). Exchanged it, assuming I had just bought a lemon, and this one lasted 3 days before it too died. I am now searching for a quality dustbuster elsewhere.

This Black & Decker dustbuster worked fine for about 9 months and then refuses to charge properly. I bought this unit to add to another B&D dust buster that I have in my garage. That unit is over 7 years old and works great, so i was very surprised when this one lasted not even a year. I'm not sure if the problem is with the battery or the charger but it won't keep a charge. It will charge all the way to near full power but if I don't disconnect the charger when it gets there it seems to lose all the charge within a few hours even though the power switch is off.

Black & Decker Dustbuster 15.6-Volt Cordless Cyclonic Hand Vacuum is a lightweight, compact and easy to carry vacuum. It has rotating. extendable slim nozzle that makes it much easy to clear the mess off difficult to reach places such as under the big appliances, car seats, under the bed. It has a wide mouth that enables it to suck the large debris too. It comes with washable dirt bowl and filters for easy clean up. Once charged completely for 24 hours lets it work full time. No need to charge every now and then. The best thing about this vacuum is that it has no loose parts, means one less tension of losing the stuff. It works as powerful as a cyclone and I really like the way it's wall bracket and charging cord are separate unlike the previous models which gives me an option to charge it only when required else the vacuum is over charged and finally dies. Overall, it works the way it should, I can not expect it to do something extra wonderful with the amount of money I spent to purchase it.

This hand vacuum is one of my favorite gadgets. I use this hand vacuum to clean up small messes like: spilled cereal, flour, sugar, salt, dirt, paper, dry cat food and so on. I use this around my house and I even use it to vacuum out my car to clean hard to reach places. This vacuum is handy for cleaning up crumbs that fall between and under my sofa and chairs. When my nieces and nephews come to visit I use this hand vacuum to clean up the small messes they tend to make. I have use this hand vacuum to clean up glitter, sand, beads, dry play-doh, food crumbs and so much more. The suction power is pretty good for it being a hand vacuum. I like the design because its easy to hold and easy to work as well. The design makes it very easy to reach between tight spaces to clean as well. This hand vacuum is very durable and it still works great after owning it for 2 years. I am pleased with this product and would recommend it to anyone who would like to purchase a hand vacuum to tackle smaller jobs.

I purchased the Black & Decker CVH1510 when I got a new vehicle. I had heard great things about this product, but apparently I wasn't as lucky. My first impression of this machine was that it is extremely loud. It's so loud that I had to put in ear plugs to use it. The design of this product I liked very much and it had excellent suction. I enjoyed the huge debris container. I only had to clean out the debris once in my time with this machine. Sadly I had to return this product because it couldn't hold a charge. On first use I couldn't get more than 5 minutes out of this machine before it started to slow down and eventually stopped working. I followed the instructions to let it charge for 24 hours prior to use and it still couldn't make it past 5 minutes before becoming useless. I definitely wouldn't recommend the Black & Decker CVH1510 because it's too loud and doesn't hold a charge long enough for cleaning.

I recently purchased the Black & Decker Dustbuster 15.6-Volt Cordless Cyclonic Hand Vac CHV1510 primarily for use in my car but I ended up using this vacuum EVERYWHERE around the house! This device is an absolute life saver. For its size, this device is a powerhouse. The suction power is very strong, the device is light weight and can be carried easily from one place to another thereby making it truly portable. It has a wide mouth design that easily sucks up loose debris, also comes with an extendable crevice tool. Clean up is extremely easy and can be done in a jiffy. Another great feature of this device is that a cleaning brush and a crevice tool are located as on-board accesories so there is no chance of loosing those attachments. This vacuum is great at cleaning on both carpets and hard surfaces and even sucks up hair without any trouble! It is perfect for in between cleanings when you don't feel like taking out your big vacuum. It is small, convenient and handy for use everyday. One needs to charge it as often as required, which is important to know since it does not work if not charged. (It will work but the suction power will be lesser if there is no/less charge). Overall, I am extremely satisfied with this vacuum and I'd definitely recommend this for use in small areas, corners, tight spaces!

I bought the Black & Decker Dust buster 15.6 volt Cordless Cyclonic Hand Vacuum because I have a lot of hard to reach areas in my home. The main problem area is my staircases that accumulate dog hair and are hard to maneuver with a regular vacuum cleaner. I love how small and portable this device is because it allows me to clean the stairs without fear of toppling down them from losing my balance while trying to use a big bulky device. Maneuverability It is very easy to clean the stairs and get into corners with this machine. It also works really well on fabric making it a breeze to clean dog hair off the furniture. Ease of Maintenance Very easy to maintain all you have to do is make sure it doesn't get clogged and to empty it after each use. Suction Performance I am very pleased with how well the suction works. It has as much suction power as my upright vacuum. Design I think it looks very sleek and modern. It is small and portable which gives me access to clean parts of my house I could not clean before. Durability This machine stands up to dog hair and lots of it!

I personally have never owned such a strong hand held vacuum before. It almost replaces my larger size vacuums because it is so very powerful as well as versatile. The long shaped front part of it makes it so easy to get down under furniture, behind bookshelves or cabinets, and really gets down between seat and couch cushions where dust and other dirty particles just love to hang out of my reach. The battery power is really good, and lasts me quite a while before having to recharge the unit. It is pretty quiet as far as noise level. I also find it extremely lightweight and so easy to maneuver around while cleaning without my hand getting all cramped up and tight with sore wrists. The cleaning part of it is so easy too, just pop it open, dump it out and replace the cartridge, it's as simple as it sounds and really easy to do. The suction on it is very strong and it picks up a lot of animal hair in its wake, all in one single pass. All in all, I am very happy with this black & decker hand held vacuum.

I LOVED our dustbuster. I had this handheld vacuum for years and it was such a great little companion. Whenever I needed to clean up a mess I immediately went to my laundry room and grabbed this little wonder. The suction power was good and once it was fully charged it would last for several weeks (although I usually kept it on the charger). The wide mouth at the bottom made it great for picking up larger pieces of food or trash. But at the same time it was still small enough to fit in the cracks of the couch or seats of the car. This little thing was so portable and I LOVED not having a cord to deal with. I loved having mine hanging on the wall so it was easy for anyone to grab when it was needed. If you have children in high chairs BUY THIS. You will not regret it. It's durable and for me it worked on all surfaces. I used it on carpet, hardwood, vinyl, and cloth/upholstery. This also works well for pet hair and I personally loved using mine to clean our stairs. No lugging a big heavy vacuum up the steps. Score!

I bought this hand held vacuum for my mother on Christmas but our whole family uses it to clean up our little messes. I simply wanted a portable vacuum that was bag less, convenient, and easy to use. I absolutely loved this vacuum. My favorite features from this vacuum is that it has a very narrow nozzle that allows you to reach into very tight spaces. Many other models or other portable vacuums do not have that. The nozzle in the front can also rotate easily so that you can clean up small areas with crazy angles. It is very powerful and picks up almost anything. It may be a little heavy compared to other models, but it is definitely not heavy enough to be a hindrance. The biggest issue with me, is that after a month or so, the battery life drastically went down. Even when I charge it over night, the vacuum would not be able to hold a charge for 5 minutes. How inconvenient. I'm glad most people did not have that problem, but beware! It is possible to receive a faulty one.
