I ordered this chain pole saw off of Amazon and I was concerned as to what I would get. Black and Decker really surprised me though, with a quality tool that is much heavier duty than I thought it would be. It's very easy to use. It extends fully to about 9' or it can be used at the 6' level. It says 14' on the box, but I believe they are including a person's average hight. I have 77 acres of trees that I have been pruning. I was getting tired of lugging around the noisy and smoky old chain saw that I have. It was so unsafe being up on a ladder too, plus it was hard to start and required fuel. This new tool has been a godsend. It charges up in about 3 hours and lasts me about 2 hours. It's easy to put together and take apart and it has it's own carrying case with a shoulder strap, which makes it easy to carry around through the trees. It doesn't require fuel and is very quiet and safe to use. Although, they warn that it kicks back, it really doesn't. Nothing compared to a gas saw. I love the fact that I can use it, set it down to move branches and go back to it without having to leave it running or pulling a string to start it. Just push a button and it goes. It cuts through a 6" limb like butter! It's not designed to cut down trees, but it's great for pruning and it gets a lot done. I love it! It's my new favorite toy!
